Tecnica, is the brand that introduced the world to the Moon Boot® in 1971. As a highly notable fashion trend of the 1970’s, the Moon Boot® saw many imitations and variations on Tecnica’s original design, yet none could match the superior quality and uniqueness of the original. In addition to the Moon Boot® Classic, newer styles have also been developed, incorporating different materials such as vinyl-coated poly uppers, super-soft shearling, and leathers.

Inspired by the spirit of the outdoors, Tecnica also provides top quality shoes and boots for active, outdoor activities. Thanks to the prime location of the Tecnica Design Headquarters in the foothills of the Italian Alps, their team is able to draw inspiration from their natural surroundings. Using the most innovative and functional technologies such as Vibram® midsoles and outsoles combined with Gore-Tex® waterproof/breathable linings, Tecnica shoes offer excellent comfort and high performance.

The evolution of wrap style shoes continues with Tecnica’s exclusive Wrap System Technology. The total foot wrap-around system is designed to provide an ideal enveloping fit, exceptional flexibility and overall safety during your outdoor excursion. In Tecnica’s Wrap models, the upper is integrated into the outsole through a fastening system, enabling the upper to “wrap” the outsole to special “tie tabs”. This allows the wearer to have complete control of the shoe.
