A classy looking sneaker - I've had a pair of these for about a year and a half and still love them. Very unusual design. The corduroy is really interesting. And everything on the outside is the same color. I mean everything from the laces to the "smile" to the sole to the heel tag. But it looks really nice; sort of an understated elegance, for a sneaker anyway. And the laces are really good quality. They will probably last longer than the shoe itself.

Not so happy - I loved the look when I bought them and pretty much love the look now, but am not at all happy about the fact that they are not comfortable.

Classic Look! Love the shoes, but when I took the 11.5 out of the box they looked huge! The fit a bit bigger too. I usually keeps my shoes loosely laced but with these I have to tie them up tight. I put them side by side with all my other 11.5s (mostly Shox and Adidas) and they are longer.

Shoes arrived speedily, and fit fine. My regular size of 10.5 worked out great. Of course it's a bit hard to keep shoes like these completely clean all of the time. How do you clean them anyway? Washing machine?

Zappos is #1 for service - These are great. Love the retro look and they fit as advertised. Soft and comfortable without a break in period. I can wear them without socks. Love Zappos service... order and they show up the next day.

Jacks are the best - These are great shoes. The Jacks have a little more support than Chucks, which is great, and the cord material is just bold enough to make these shoes stand out from other Jacks, even if the difference is subtle--which I like. They do get dirty very easily, but what light-colored shoes don't? After size 10.5, these only come in whole sizes, which worried me at first, because I usually wear an 11.5. Once when I order 12s in another Converse style (All Stars, I think) they were really too big. But 12 in these are perfect, so in the bigger sizes, you might find them to feel about a half-size smaller. All in all, great shoes, and I always buy from Zappos if possible--great prices and great, fast service. The free return policy is the best. Viva Zappos!!

Soooo cool!!! These shoes are great. The color is perfect. You don't have to have a break-in period like you do with most tennis shoes when they are new and blindingly white. Even the lining is neat. They are very comfortable even with no socks.

Love J. Purcell’s... First off, I ordered these on a Tues evening, and received them Thurs...amazing...! I love these shoes...dress them up, or down...they are very comfortable...more support than Chuck T's (although I love them, too...) I highly recommend buying product through Zappos, and I highly recommend these shoes...
