A Sandal Everyone should own - These aren't anything like the flip flops you buy at a convenient store or off a rack. These are some actual high quality sandals. They are really comfortable to wear during the summer, and it cushions like a shoe, unlike the other pair of flip flops I use which are made by Adidas. The only bad part about them is that they suffer from feet odor. If you're outside most of the time, they're great, but if you're wearing them at school or take them off while in a car ride, they smell like garbage. The bacteria off your feet stay in there unless you clean them. Other than that, they are good for the entire summer.

Nice casual footwear - All in all these are a pretty nice value. I wear a size 15 and they seemed to run a little on the small side. The right unit does not seem to track straight. I'm not quite sure how to state that. Otherwise, I'll stop whining, I like them.

Lasts Forever! I purchased these flip flops two years ago and have worn them very extensively. They are STILL holding together. There are nicks in the foam all around, but the tread is in great shape. The foam sole is beginning to wear though, my left big toe has worn in the upper layer down to the lower harder rubber layer. I still love them though. Size wise, the 12 seemed just right at first, but loosened with time (and compression of the foam). One thing, since I went with a slightly larger 12, there is a good 1.5" from the front edge of the shoe to my toe. It looks a little funky. I might try going with the 11 next time. I can't wait to get a new pair!

Great sandals - This is a great sandal, very comfortable, and they look great, but warning, if you have a fat feet you will a bigger size than normal. Example: I'm 10 but I have to get a 11 to be really comfort.

Most comfortable flip-flops ever - Got these to take with me to Europe for lots of walking around. With the great arch support and super comfortable heat moldable foam bottoms... these things fit the bill perfectly.

Absolutely the best! Superb support, comfort and durability built into a moderately priced flip flop. Rugged sole works well off pavement too, though not a hiker per se. Liked these so much, I'm on my second pair. I work out of my house, and live in a warm climate in So Cal, so I wear sandals virtually every day. First pair is still going strong after 1 year of use!

Excellent - My feet get achy from standing still for more than ten minutes or so. I use Superfeet insoles, which are helpful, but what I really look forward to is slipping these sandals on. Because you mold them to your feet, you get a custom fit. I actually do not recommend following the instructions which say to stand normally in them to mold them; if you do that, they mold to your arches when they are compressed. Instead, I alternated between putting weight on my heels and the balls of my feet, with just a little on the arches. By doing that, the arch portion did not compress much, so after the molding process, the sandals support the arches, which is the point, right? The strap portion is padded and also very comfortable. I just wish Montrail made shoes with this same molding technology. Montrail's moldable insoles don't get the rave reviews of the Molokai, and they aren't deep enough to get the real support the Molokai’s offer. Overall, if you don't have foot pain, these are super-comfy; if you do have pain, they can be a godsend. I usually wear an 8.5-9.5 in shoes; I got these in an 8 and they fit perfectly. Also, Keen sandals are almost as comfortable, and they are more versatile.

Comfort -- even for non-thong wearers - Got these for a friend who NEVER wears thong sandals because the thong always irritated his feet. Well, this one is different! The thong is softer and more flexible than most. Also, the footbed that molds to your foot helps him to avoid trouble with plantar fasciitis, which has always been a concern. This one is a winner! He got the size that was one up from his usual half-size.

Great flops - Out of all the flip flops I have owned, these are the most comfortable. The molding footbed is awesome. The only drawback is the very noisy soles. Our house has polished stone floors and I cannot sneak up on anyone wearing these. The rubber is very squeaky. Arch support is great. I have flat feet and these support like a good shoe.

Amaz-za-zing! I train very hard and am very hard on my feet, knees, and back. I always look forward to putting my sandals back on at the end of the training day. They keep my feet and body in the correct position and are very comfortable. They also dry quickly after being wet.

You gotta buy this shoe - If I could wear this with a suit during the week, then I would wear these 7 days a week instead of just weekends. I have bought a lot of flip-flops but never found one as comfortable as this one. The more I wear it, the more comfortable it gets. Don't wait - just buy it.

These are the best shoes I have ever had for comfort. The size needs to be the next size up. So order one size bigger. I have arch support in all of my shoes and these are the best arch support I have had.

Very nice - I wear a 9.5 shoe and ordered a 9 sandal, had to return it for a 10, so go up a size if you are in-between. Nice cushioning, reasonable arch support, easy to walk in as the sandal has a small amount of cling to it which keeps it in place without using your toes.

Not a fan - After reading the reviews from previous Molokai purchasers, I was pretty excited to dive in, splurge and pay the high price for high end flip flops. I did think they looked pretty nice and after following the instructions, they had a great fit. With all that in mind, I was pretty excited to wear my new purchase (after breaking them in of course) on an upcoming trip to Walt Disney World. If you've been to Disney before you know you're in for a heck of a lot of walking. The first day was a breeze although I noticed a tiny bit of chafing on the inner sides of both of my feet. No big deal, so I thought. After just a couple of more days, what originally started as great comfort ended in complete and utter torture. The sides of my feet were rubbed raw. Unfortunately for me, I had put so much faith into the Montrail brand, I hadn't bothered to bring along anything else to wear as an alternative. To add insult to injury, the sole of one flip flop came loose and is now going to fall off at any moment. I can't recommend this shoe to anyone anywhere at any time. They are absolutely awful.

Molokai - Love how they make this shoe so that you can heat it in the oven and then put it on. Then the shoe molds perfectly to your foot! Makes it the best comfort shoe!

Funny looking but the most comfortable shoe I own! This sandal is soo comfortable! I bought these for my husband after he kept wearing mine around the house (they are much too small for him) and he has barely taken them off all summer, except when he wears dress shoes for work. They even keep your feet comfy on a four-day Disneyworld trip! Any shoe that can stand up to Disney lines is truly amazing. These are more comfortable than even our sneakers, and much cooler for hot summer weather. Waterproof, too.

Wow what a surprise - I thought I'd have to stop wearing flip flops due to high arches and arch pain (PF). These have been fantastic!!! I tried Chaco and Olukai, but the Montrail are far superior. Very comfortable, very supportive. These are my favorite shoes!!!

No big deal, so I thought. After just a couple of more days, what originally started as great comfort ended in complete and utter torture. The sides of my feet were rubbed raw. Unfortunately for me, I had put so much faith into the Montrail brand, I hadn't bothered to bring along anything else to wear as an alternative. To add insult to injury, the sole of one flip flop came loose and is now going to fall off at any moment. I can't recommend this shoe to anyone anywhere at any time. They are absolutely awful.

Molokai - Love how they make this shoe so that you can heat it in the oven and then put it on. Then the shoe molds perfectly to your foot! Makes it the best comfort shoe!

Funny looking but the most comfortable shoe I own! This sandal is soo comfortable! I bought these for my husband after he kept wearing mine around the house (they are much too small for him) and he has barely taken them off all summer, except when he wears dress shoes for work. They even keep your feet comfy on a four-day Disneyworld trip! Any shoe that can stand up to Disney lines is truly amazing. These are more comfortable than even our sneakers, and much cooler for hot summer weather. Waterproof, too.

Great sandals - These are pretty comfortable. The oven heating thing isn't all that amazing- but these feel great, offer great support and I would definitely buy again.

Wow what a surprise - I thought I'd have to stop wearing flip flops due to high arches and arch pain (PF). These have been fantastic!!! I tried Chaco and Olukai, but the Montrail are far superior. Very comfortable, very supportive. These are my favorite shoes!!!
