Great shoe!! I am loving these shoes. They are very comfortable and fit great. Zappos customer service is incredible! I ordered the shoe yesterday and they added express shipping and lo and behold, the shoes were in my house when I got home from work today. A great shopping experience, in general.

Brilliant! Best shoes around - I got a rare edition pair of black ones, they rock! I've also got the burgundies. Great sole, really dense, from the best quality rubber, with very neat looking uppers. Great for fragile floors like dance floors, etc.

Great for moderately inclement weather - Got these shoes to wear to work (where the dress code is on the business casual side). This is my second pair in 5 years...very comfortable and easier to deal with than boots.

Now in BLACK!! I got a pair of these great shoes last week at a shop in Dublin, Ireland - in BLACK! I had been wanting them for a long time. Already have a pair in burgundy. Great shoes, great looking , comfortable, strong. (Squeak when walking, though.)

Stuart McNutt (25) I love these shoes, am thru to my third pair, Got first when 15, am now 25, think they are very cool looking, and go well with blue denims, grey slacks, chinos, whatever. Sole IS aggressive, this is what's good about it - says tough attitude OK!

Comfort rating - The heel slips a bit when I walk. I do wear a size 8 M or W with no problem with the length. Not quite a 1/2 size too large. Just a little slipping when I walk.

Great sturdy shoe - This is a great, sturdy shoe with solid leather construction and heavy duty lug sole. Does bring back little rocks, but that's not a big deal. For me, needs a little more cushioning, but a thin extra insole helps that. Roomy, comfy and good traditional looks. This is my go to shoe for almost anything.

Best shoe I have ever owned!! I just re-ordered another pair. I bought the ones on my feet at this moment the day Regan was shot back in the early 1980's and they finally developed a small tear on the top, the sole and inside are still fine. I have used them for dressy occasions, working around the house, and taken everywhere. By far the best shoe I have ever owned, still comfortable just starting to show 26 years of wear and tear. Guess I got my moneys worth, but like that old pair of Levis will be hard to get rid of, maybe just delegate the old pair to the garage and yard work until the tear increases too much.

Very Happy! My second pair and I love them. I have a bad back and find these shoes are great for work. Great for wide width feet. They offer great support and comfort. Highly recommend to anyone with a bad back that is on their feet the majority of the day.

Longest Running, Best Shoe Ever!! Been wearing this Traditional Handsewn Classic Timberland shoe 20+ years. On my third pair, by choice. The first & second pairs still had plenty of life left. Thick, double layer leather makes up the entire upper. Even the sole of the insides is plush, top quality leather. Don’t be deceived by the thick, durable look of both upper & sole. Break them in a couple of weeks and they will fit & feel like a slipper. I wear them for most everything. You just can’t kill the shoe. Do NOT be scared off by the price as these shoes are worth every cent & more. Timberland, do NOT change a thing and don’t ever stop making this shoe. Just look at all these reviews!... Zappos continues to amaze me. I ordered these yesterday at 9:45pm. They are now in my house at 7:00pm today. No tax, no shipping charges. Beyond impressive.

The Best!!! I bought a pair of these over 26 years ago. Wore them everywhere, to work, on weekends, at night, with casual slacks and with jeans. Style never changes and hope these won't either. Got these shoes before my son was born and then he took them off to college. Never saw them again. Had to buy a second pair after 19 years. Imagine that, I have had them longer than my son. Love them both.

Very good shoe. My g/f got me a pair when I was 19 and now I'm 26 and still wear them nearly everywhere. Keep them clean - wash the soles with a hard sponge, water and wash-up liquid, then polish the uppers - and they'll look as good as new.

Unbelievable Shoe! Zappos, be sure to relay all of the reviews on this classic Timberland shoe to Timberland informing them NEVER to stop making it and not to change it AT ALL. I’ve worn this shoe for about 20 years now, on my third pair. You simply cannot destroy or wear this shoe out. Don’t be fooled, its looks are VERY deceiving. It is very tough, thick leather, even on the inside. Yet, it is THE most comfortable Timberland made and far more comfortable than other brands. It is also much lighter in weight than it appears to be. Not much break in needed, but do give it maybe 30 days of wear. It will be your favorite shoe for sure! The burgundy color goes with everything. You can wear it with jeans, casual Dockers/business casual. Can’t say enough about this shoe. It’s worth every cent of what appears to be a high price. It will out last all other shoes by far...by years!

A Cult Shoe! There simply is no better! Like the stories of many other owners of these traditional boat shoes/ Lugs- my wearing of these has spanned over a decade so far, with no end in sight! (I've been wearing them since some hand-me-downs from my brother when I was 13!) No other company has come close to the durability, comfort, or LOOK of these shoes. Sure, the newer sole design does pick up rocks and mud- but why not grab some of the actual hiking-timberlands for that in addition. Just get some of these, and you will live in the them. I've just retired a pair after nearly five years wear- and that was only because I had worn the soles down. The seams all were perfect. The leather was perfect. The laces hadn't broken! Perfect for summer, perfect for winter, and everything in between! If you don't understand why I would say this about a shoe- GET A PAIR! You won't go back. You won't regret it. Sure these are more expensive than other brands- but the number of years you get out of them makes it a no-brainer! Get some and understand why. Keep up the good work Timberland!

A classic shoe - I have owned one pair of these Timberlands for the past 20 years. Same shoes. This model has stood the test of time- I have owned several other TL's but this one surpasses all. Had to get my sole repaired after 18 years-but the rest of shoes are great-2006 I plan to order a new pair.

Gloves for my feet! Like the ol' saying goes "fits like a glove," well pilgrims my Timberlands fit like that! This is my forth pair of Timberland 3 eyelet classics. They have been with me on mountains, canyons, trail rides and just plain lounging around. My only wish is to go back to the old sole style; these lug soles do bring home souvenirs from my treks. All in all I love them and will keep buying and wearing them out... They are like an old friend

Duvey of Ohio - A most trusted friend. My ultimate favorite shoe. Dress for casual, business casual, or play. Dependable, durable and easy on the eyes. They have been with me on mountains, in the high desert and everywhere in between. As they said out west 100 years ago, these are the best there was.

Very good shoe. My g/f got me a pair when I was 19 and now I'm 26 and still wear them nearly everywhere. Keep them clean - wash the soles with a hard sponge, water and wash-up liquid, then polish the uppers - and they'll look as good as new.

Unbelievable Shoe! Zappos, be sure to relay all of the reviews on this classic Timberland shoe to Timberland informing them NEVER to stop making it and not to change it AT ALL. I’ve worn this shoe for about 20 years now, on my third pair. You simply cannot destroy or wear this shoe out. Don’t be fooled, its looks are VERY deceiving. It is very tough, thick leather, even on the inside. Yet, it is THE most comfortable Timberland made and far more comfortable than other brands. It is also much lighter in weight than it appears to be. Not much break in needed, but do give it maybe 30 days of wear. It will be your favorite shoe for sure! The burgundy color goes with everything. You can wear it with jeans, casual Dockers/business casual. Can’t say enough about this shoe. It’s worth every cent of what appears to be a high price. It will out last all other shoes by far...by years!

A Cult Shoe! There simply is no better! Like the stories of many other owners of these traditional boat shoes/ Lugs- my wearing of these has spanned over a decade so far, with no end in sight! (I've been wearing them since some hand-me-downs from my brother when I was 13!) No other company has come close to the durability, comfort, or LOOK of these shoes. Sure, the newer sole design does pick up rocks and mud- but why not grab some of the actual hiking-timberlands for that in addition. Just get some of these, and you will live in the them. I've just retired a pair after nearly five years wear- and that was only because I had worn the soles down. The seams all were perfect. The leather was perfect. The laces hadn't broken! Perfect for summer, perfect for winter, and everything in between! If you don't understand why I would say this about a shoe- GET A PAIR! You won't go back. You won't regret it. Sure these are more expensive than other brands- but the number of years you get out of them makes it a no-brainer! Get some and understand why. Keep up the good work Timberland!

A classic shoe - I have owned one pair of these Timberlands for the past 20 years. Same shoes. This model has stood the test of time- I have owned several other TL's but this one surpasses all. Had to get my sole repaired after 18 years-but the rest of shoes are great-2006 I plan to order a new pair.

The comfort shoe- This shoe has been my all time favorite for 12 years running. This and the original Stan Smith are my shoes of choice.

Gloves for my feet! Like the ol' saying goes "fits like a glove," well pilgrims my Timberlands fit like that! This is my forth pair of Timberland 3 eyelet classics. They have been with me on mountains, canyons, trail rides and just plain lounging around. My only wish is to go back to the old sole style; these lug soles do bring home souvenirs from my treks. All in all I love them and will keep buying and wearing them out... They are like an old friend
