Just the right size - This bag is big enough for a two-week trip (like the one I just went on) yet small enough to fit into every overhead I've encountered (although on smaller planes it has to go sideways instead of 'wheels-in'). Speaking of the wheels, they're excellent and keep the bag very stable when it's being pulled; in fact, it's the most stable of the five wheeled bags I've owned. The handle is very comfortable and extends/retracts smoothly (although a tiny bit less smoothly over time). The zippers work well, the bag is very light, and it doesn't have any superfluous, wasteful "features." The only thing that isn't absolutely perfect is the rather large and obtrusive Dakine lettering on the bag (I don't like being branded). I went with the Wiser Plaid, as the writing isn't as prominent...and I like the look too, of course! A nice distinctive bag if you ever do have to check it (perhaps because you've opened the expanded zipper, which makes it too big for 90% of all overheads). On second thought, don't get the plaid one; I don't want you to accidentally take my bag at the airport...

Great travel bag - I recently went on a trip to Europe, using only this bag. I just brought it on the flight with me; it easily fit in the overhead compartment. It held up really well, no problems wheeling it around or carrying it from the side when not using the wheels. Super convenient and sturdy!

A really good bag - I love this bag because it has so much space and they last for ever. I have been riding for Dakine since I was 11 or 12. And every piece of equipment I have used has never had a problem. And this is one of the best bags too because of all the compartments and heavy duty material. They are also one of the only companies that have inline wheels, with abec 4's for bearings. Dakine is a great company, that makes products that last.

Best function on the market - I don't pack for a trip without filling this bag. It is small enough to use as a carry-on but still fits all the necessities. There is a zipper that runs the perimeter of the bag that can be closed to make the bag small and compact and then opened to add more storage space for anything you might pick up on the road. The best travel bag I’ve ever owned!

Dakine Over Under - This is the BEST travel case. 1) It is built like a tank, sturdy handles 2) It holds more stuff (organized) than any other carry on I've had 3) The design and color are EASY TO SPOT for fast pick up at luggage carousels. If you're at a busy airport this is huge. 4) If you surf and travel with family you must have this bag, my 5 year old can wheel it!
