Excellent shoe with a nice styling. Our boys have worn this style shoe for years! They wear a uniform to school, and these Topsiders are the perfect shoe for that. Sperry Kids are also great on a boat: they are made to get wet. The only problem we have ever had is with one new pair - the leather tab for the hook & loop split on the 3rd wearing. Zappos replaced them immediately!

These shoes are great quality and fit great even on my hard to fit son's wide foot. The velcro closure is perfect as he refuses to keep his shoes tied. A perfect finishing touch on his school uniform. Fastest shipping I've ever received online! Thanks Zappos for great inventory and even better service!

True to size, good quality. They are my 9 year old son's introduction to 'dress shoes.' He says they are a little uncomfortable, but since he's pretty much only worn sneakers that's not a surprise.

Great Nice Looking Shoe - My son and I are visiting Paris next week and I purchased these shoes so he'd look sharp, which he does. He claims they are comfortable and likes the shoe because they look just like “Numbah One's shoes on Kid's Next Door” (which is a cartoon).

Loafer for Loafers - I liked the look of this shoe and ordered it to wear for every day activities. I had to exchange it for the next larger size. I was a little disappointed that it isn't as wide as I'd hoped so the hook and loop sometimes tends to come undone with walking.
Other shoes recommended by reviewer: Sperry makes a good quality product.

Good school shoe - Great school shoe for those boys in Catholic School, or otherwise no ties to worry about, it took some stretching but over time they get very comfortable this is the 2nd year in a row I have purchased them as my son's primary school shoe, and they wear well and hold up well.

This is a shoe that will never go out of style, even for my nine year old. He has remembered this style of shoe since he began walking so he is very comfortable with this shoe whether it's casual or semi-casual.

New School Year - New Shoes - These are the third pair of these shoes I have bought (1st grade, 2nd grade, 3rd grade) and for good reason since they are so well made and durable. They last the entire school year with no problem. If it weren't for a growing foot size, he would still be running around in the same ones. I'm uncertain as to sizing as every brand is completely different. When ordering this year's pair, I simply went up a half size and they fit great. However, that size is a full size smaller that Nike which does tend to run small. They are equivalent to Vans sizing. Overall, I highly recommend these shoes.

Pretty good product - I really like the look of this shoe, and that it can be dressed up or down. However, Sperry used to make a kids shoe on this same level that I think was called Bal Harbour. It was so cute and comfortable that my son kept getting new pairs when he outgrew them. It was much more comfortable for children, and I liked the look better, although this one is a bit more dressy. If you can find that style somewhere, I recommend it over this one, but this is the best alternative I have yet to find.
