Love these boots! We buy a pair for our older son every September. It rains from October to June, so these really are the perfect boots for our climate. However, they are not warm enough for snow. The lining is not thick enough for really cold weather.

Best boot ever - Keen makes the best sandal, shoe, and boot, comfortable, roomy toes; don't want to ever take them off. Love my Keens!

Keen Kid's Dakota Boot (Youth) Not the most attractive rain boot but I'm sure it will definitely be waterproof as stated. (Haven't yet had a chance to wear them in the rain.) Excellent construction, I wish that the boot was a little taller up the calf. The inside front of the boot is not very giving and hits my shin when walking but is not uncomfortable. I purchased this boot to wear when riding the motorcycle with my husband and I think it will definitely fit the bill. I bought one size larger so that I can wear a heavy sock and the fit is perfect. I do wish that Keen made their kids shoes in half sizes for a better fit. Overall I like the boot very much.
