Perfect fit for a wide foot... I ordered this waterproof rain boot for my 9 year old daughter for a week long outdoor camp in CO. I have always had difficulty finding shoes to fit her 2.5 wide foot, but these were perfect and so comfortable right out of the box (I ordered a size 3 youth.) She wore them all week as it rained every afternoon and her feet stayed comfortable and dry. Also they are flexible, easy to get on and off, and have good traction...a bit pricey but worth it, hopefully she can wear them next summer at camp too!

A New Favorite - My daughter is extremely picky about outdoor boots, and we’re never able to find something that she finds comfortable. The typical "winter boot" is heavy and clunky. The last two years she wanted to wear UGG knockoffs, which get wet and uncomfortable whenever the playground is slushy. I got a pair of Keen boots this year myself, and I love them, so I thought I'd give them a try for her. Success! She says they feel like they "mold to her feet" and are the most comfortable boots she's ever owned. The only comfort issue is the zipper, which rubs on her ankle when she wears shorter socks. They are a bit "ducky" but actually somewhat trendy in a way.

Warm and not too bulky - My daughter (8yrs) loves wearing these boots. They are a nice cross between a snow boot and sneaker. The keep her feet perfectly dry in the slushiest conditions. The only drawback is the zipper is difficult to operate; it's tucked too far into the side of the boot. So we treat them like slip-ons and leave the zipper mostly up.
