I bought these because I need a nice winter boot and I like how high the shaft was, but I'm returning them because they are heavy! I didn't even try them on because just taking them out of the box I could tell that they would be incredibly heavy to wear during a New England snow storm.

Sorel - This company never dissapoints me. I've been wearing their boots since I was 11 and I'm 27 now. These boots, the Sorel Glacier, are amazing. Love the design and they are SO comfortable and I usually don't think of snow boots being super comfy... I would recommend these boots to anyone who was looking for a serious boot that is both comfortable and durable… this baby was built to last, haha. My only complaint is that I wish they made it in dark brown...

Good overall winter boot - I bought these for our nanny, who plays outside a lot in the snow with the kids, and treks them all about town. She loves the boot and its warmth. The only drawback is that it is a heavy boot for walking long distances. (That is the reason for 4 stars.) For everything else, it is great.

Love Them - These are the best boots I have ever owned. I don't really like shopping for shoes online but I have not had a problem with shoe I have ever bought from Zappos.com. I tell all my friends.

Sorel's Glacier - I've owed a pair of these for six years now and wouldn't need to purchase another pair if my new puppy didn't eat one of them. They are perfect for snowmobiling and deep snow. My feet never get cold, even when snowmobiling in - 30 zero at Island Pond VT traveling at 40 MPH. Yes they might be harder to drive in a car with, but they are as warm as a boot can get and comfortable too. I have Reynouds syndrome, and my feet never freeze with these. If you need your feet toasty warm, these are the best boots for you.

These boots are the BEST - You cannot find a better boot for cold weather. Excellent for weather extremes. The height of the boot is great for keeping snow out. I have bad circulation in my feet and my feet stay warm in these boots.

Extremely satisfied - This is my 2nd pair of these wonderful boots. Great on ice and especially trekking through snow to the barn. Warmth & comfort a definite plus. Top notch outdoor wear.

Sorel Glacier – They are a warm boot; can’t knock that if you love the snow. My feet never got cold, which was my problem. They have a few problems, though. They are heavy if you want to walk; your legs will get tired of lugging these things around for a long distance. Second, they are the ugliest boot I ever bought. Third, don’t try to drive your car with these on, they really are too big and you can’t feel the gas pedal.

Sorel Glacier Review - Great cold weather boot. It is a good idea to spray the uppers with silicone spray to make the uppers more water resistant. If you need a warm boot that is tall enough to keep the snow out of your boots these are it. Easy on and off. Tops cinch down to keep snow and cold air out. Liners are comfortable to walk on. A little bulky to drive an auto with but then again these are for cold weather and they are perfect for snowmobiling, shoveling, or other snow time activities.

Best bang for your buck. Warm and comfortable. They remind me of the early snowmobile boots but greatly beefed up for cold weather. Ladies with cold feet and love to snowmobile this is the boot for you. You won't regret this buy. Greatly satisfied with my purchase. Zappo's didn't disappoint me. Great and fast service.

Great Boots! My feet are always cold. Got these for snowmobiling and now have toasty toes! They're not the most attractive, but who cares, I'm finally comfortable. Highly recommended.

Cold feet in minus12 Fahrenheit - I'm working outside for up to 12 hours a day in Northern Minnesota - often standing around, i.e not a lot of physical activity. They are comfortable, if heavy, and warm - up to a point. The other morning it was -12F and after 2 hours my toes felt like iceblocks - which was disappointing for a shoe rated -70F...

Great service, great shoe! My daughter spent a year in Fairbanks, Alaska and got a pair of these shoes from you during that time. When she came home in July she brought the shoes and I tried them out during that December 23rd blizzard we had this year. I LOVED THEM! I work outside and my feet are always cold but not anymore. When my feet are in those shoes I'm halfway to heaven!

Extremely Warm Boot! These boots are the warmest you will find -They are a little heavy for walking but for SNOWMOBILING they are the best ! Especially for women. These were my 3rd trial and finally the last - I am glad I decided to try one more boot before giving up and living with frozen feet.We snowmobile, mostly in Canada and temps can be as low as -30. So for winter sports, these are definitely the warmest.

Sorel Glacier - I bought these boots to go snowmobiling with my husband. They kept my feet snug and warm. The boot is definitely not for walking around town. However, if you need a massive boot for serious outdoor activites; these are the boots for you.

These Boots are awesome, my husband and I snowmobile and need a taller boot to keep the snow out. This boot does just that and is perfect, VERY WARM, durable and worth every penny. I would recommend them to everyone, especially those who love outdoor winter sports!!

ALL DAY WEAR - I work for a small land surveying company in upstate NY, which requires me to be outside for a full days work in very cold weather. These are the ONLY boots that keep my feet toasty warm and dry. They are a serious boot for serious comfort and warmth. Have trouble with shoeshoes, though, as they are too tall for the typical bear hug bindings.

Fantastic Price, Great Boot - Sorel is well known around the world to those of us that love the outdoors. Rain or shine, I want to be comfortable, and in this case, I want to be warm and DRY! This boot was the best price I've ever seen in my life! Great boot, I'm very very happy!

Herman Munster Boots - I agree with the previous review--these are surely boots designed for Herman Munster. Or the abominable snowman. Or Bigfoot. Horrible look, MASSIVE size, and just plain ugly. Unless you live in the coldest part of the Artic, steer clear of these beasts.

These boots are gigantic! They are heavy-duty, serious snow boots, not necessarily for walking around town! They are meant for spending long hours on glaciers! They run very small, too, so order up! They actually look like boots that Frankenstein would wear. They are massive!

Cozies - The boots are very warm, light, and durabule. Good top. With draw string are the best. Boots that I have ever had. This is my second pair, as the first pair wore out after abought 10 years of use. If I had these kind of boots when I was a child, winter would of been better and more fun...
