Will buy more! I'm in love with these sneakers! I bought the light blue ones around 2 years ago, and they're still in fantastic condition! They felt tight at first, but somehow after time they felt just right! They're very sporty-looking, and I love the color variety! Great sneakers!

Best all around shoe/sneaker/hiker. Loved 1st pair of Salomon trial runners. They fit my 10.5 foot perfectly with the fantastic arch support in just the right place. Thought I'd try a summer shoe. Techamphibian has become my most comfortable all around shoe for summer. Even used it for tennis on hard courts because it offers the best support! After a particularly swampy hike without socks they started to smell. I was afraid it would be that kind of baked in smell since I didn't really notice it for 2 weeks. I just hosed them down outside, removed insole and let sundry. Good as new. Pleasantly surprised that the green grass color actually goes with everything.

Runs Big!!! I usually wear a 6 in pretty much any shoe I buy. I just ordered this shoe in a 5.5 and 6 after reading some reviews that said the shoe runs large. After trying both sizes, the 5.5 was still a half size too big! Really cute shoe! Very bummed; will be sending back both pair since the smallest size offered is a 5.5.

Love the shoe and customer service! I found out about Zappos from a lady in my water aerobics class. I put off ordering shoes for about 3-4 weeks and I'm sorry I did! I ordered my shoes on a Wednesday and they came the following Monday. I wore the shoes to class the next night - Tuesday - and was so glad I finally ordered them. They are comfortable and have a good grip. No more slipping in the pool. I had a $4.99 pair of water shoes and after only 3 months, they were falling apart, plus I slipped in the pool. The Salomon Techamphibians are wonderful for water aerobics and I'm seriously thinking about buying several more pairs (different colors) for work. I do a lot of walking and these are very comfortable with or without socks and have very good support. I wear a size 8-9, depending on the style. With the Salomon Techamphibian, I wear an 8 1/2 very comfortably. Thank Zappos!

Great for pool therapy, pool exercise - I purchased these shoes (advertised for water use) to use while undergoing physical therapy in an indoor pool. They work very well for that purpose. It would be better if they had an arch support. They are rather flat in that area. Everything else about them is great. I tried them while boating on the lake. Sand entered the mesh sides very readily, making it unpleasant. I would use them in the pool only. They would make good gardening shoes unless you plan to be in loose sand or dirt.

These shoes are great! I highly recommend. They just traveled with me to Mexico and performed well – from rocky coastline to Mayan ruins and snorkeling, along with a tropical storm thrown in. These shoes did not let me down. I bought my regular size and they were fine. I wore with both low-cut socks and barefoot. At first I found them slightly scratchy and uncomfortable without the socks, but once broken in, they were fine. I did not have the problem some others mentioned regarding the ankle strap loosening. The shoe stayed snug and comfortable pretty much all day for me. They also dried out quickly...I took out the inserts and let them dry separately, and the shoes dried overnight. The only exception was during the tropical storm when it was just too damp out for anything to dry. They are not clunky and clown-like as many of these types of shoes are and I liked the look. A few things to note: 1. Not much arch support. 2. They do not keep out sand...but do keep out most everything else. My husband complained bitterly about his Tevas, but I just kept loving my Salomons.

My favorite "sneaker" - from a non-sneaker fan - Bought a pair back in 2003 and was dreading when I'd need a new pair, as I never seem to have luck finding the same style and model when it comes to sneakers - but here they are at Zappos! I wear these to the gym; they go into the ocean with me, especially when there's more shell shards than sand. They dry quickly. They are incredibly lightweight and I have no problem wearing them without socks. I have very high arches and normally wear a 7.5, bu they only had a 7, however it turns out, that with the ankle strap, the speed laces and mesh sides, a 7 was the way to go. The arch support isn't bad either, as I don't get that strained or tight feeling in my arches that I've often gotten with other sneaker/hiking footwear. I tend to pronate in most sneakers, but always feel very secure in these. I highly recommend them overall for something that will take a pounding on city streets, beaches and hiking paths!

Nice - I have them on right now. I am going to give the dog a bath so need some water shoes. These are very comfy. I usually use orthotics but seem to be ok with these without. I got them for vacation and ordered a size bigger to fit my orthotics. They are a bit big without them in, but still ok for short times of wear. I am very happy with them and they are cute, a soft pink, not too bright.

Some Issues - Most people love this shoe. It is not my favorite. I was looking for a shoe I could wear without socks, these seemed made just for that. Maybe my feet are too sensitive, but I found them very scratchy without socks. I also purchased them because you can tighten the back strap, but the strap loosens very quickly, so that didn't work out. The sole look like they would have a good grip on wet floors, but they don't. I have other Salomon shoes, and I love them. These were not right for me. Zappos is fantastic, and would have taken them back, but I wore them to the beach.

Great shoes, not perfect. These are great all-purpose shoes. I wanted a shoe to wear on my adventure vacation in Belize. I wore them hiking, jogging, snorkeling, river tubing and climbing Mayan ruins. They are most comfortable with socks. Without socks, I get blister on my heels. Be sure to wear these in before you use them - If I hadn't my feet would not have been in good shape. They are true to shoe size, not sneaker size. I am a true 7.5 and they fit me perfect. They dried really fast and I could wear them everyday without them being damp. They seem to be slip-resistant as I never slipped while hiking over wet rocks. I also like that you can step on the heel and wear them like sandals. I bought the cerulean blue color and they are beautiful! Overall, a great multi-purpose shoe if you want to pack light.

Lacking Functionality - The tightening devices for both the top of the shoe and the heel does not work. I was so excited after I first put these shoes on because I was able to get a perfect fit and they were major comfortable. Then I proceeded to walk about five steps and that was all it took to find out how well these shoes would work. The heel loosened up so much that the rest of my foot sloshed from side to side within the shoe and I almost fell down. The shoe was tight enough to not fall off my foot, but so loose that I tripped on the shoe itself-I did not trip on my other foot or on something hiding on the floor-but the friggin' shoe itself!!! I was highly disappointed.

Looks great but... This shoe looks great but it has a couple of problems. The heel straps don't stay tight. I keep having to stop walking and kick my heel up to pull the strap tight again and again. Also the front outside stitching digs into my little toe, it hurts a lot after awhile, and it's only on the right shoe that this happens. I can say that Zappos sets the standard for online ordering. I ordered this shoe on Sunday I got them on Tuesday, they where the wrong size. They sent the next size up and I had them the next day!! I had two weeks to return the other pair. I LOVE ZAPPOS!!!

NOT non-skid, but feel good on - Found out the hard way by slipping on deck of a 34-foot yacht that the outsole - as tough looking as it is - is not non-skid. So don't buy for sailing. Otherwise, they are fine.

A great shoe. Just wore them hiking and cave-tubing in Belize and got them soaking wet, but they were dry and comfortable two days later to wear as my "comfy shoes" in the airport. The insoles are attached with velcro and slip right out for more thorough drying. I'd buy another pair (and probably will).

Great shoe! Great fit! Had little to no trouble getting used to the shoe. It is light and airy, and will be great for summer hiking and being near water or wet grass. They dry quickly on your feet. I've had plantar fasciitis, so I am fussy about the support. The shoes are great!!

Salomon Techamphibian - This is a great shoe for people with hot feet - it has super ventilation. Even if you don't plan to exploit its amphibious nature it is a great everyday sneaker. Very durable.

Love it. This was my second pair of Techamphibian’s. They're comfy, cool, and have great traction. Perfect for camping, light hiking, and in the water. My only complaint about this shoe is that the back strap doesn't stay tight, but it's not a big problem.

Awesomest shoes yet!! These shoes are the best! I’ve been wearing them to work (hospital) for no less than 14 hours and they never let me down. Not a single rub on my feet from day one and never wore socks all those hours. Imagine when I actually wear them on trail runs and water rafting?!!! Hate socks in the winter time so I will be wearing these throughout the year...

Comfort and style - I am enjoying my 2nd pair of Salomon Techamphibian. My first pair was given to me by my son who is an Interperative Ranger at a state park in the mountains of North Georgia. I used them to hike in the mountains of Mexico to see the Monarch butterflies overwintering. My new pair I use on the job as a 7th grade Life Science teacher. I am on my feet all day. These shoes are very comfortable and have great support.

New to Zappos and Salomon Tech - I recently had an invasive foot surgery (bone graph) and screws etc. and a friend told me about your website and shoes. I was first impressed with the customer service and expediant delivery. I was headed to the beach and was quite pleased with the support and easy dry and comfort of this shoe. I am not able to wear my orthodics yet (pronation) but will look at this at a later time. I was not able to wear a tight shoe, so the fact I could slip in and out of this shoe with ease was appreciated. I was also not sure to get a 9 1/2 or 10 because all my shoes are one or the other depending on brand. I went with the smaller size and the fit was perfect. I will definately look for my next pair here. tammy

Choose these water shoes! I am so glad I bought these water shoes! I have very bad feet and wear orthotics. My foot doctor said I could not use them in the water shoes since they would get ruined. I had no choice but to do without and wow, I was pretty much fine. I climbed Dunn's River Falls in Jamaica. The climb to the top of the falls, challenging to say the lease. These shoes had great traction and the sizing was good as well. Sometimes, the laces that meet at the top became lose so I had to pull them together a few times, still, if you are looking for good support, traction and durability, choose these water shoes! I even called my foot doctor and told him about this item.

This shoe is everything it promises - My fiancée and I are going tubing through a rainforest, and needed more than simple "water shoes", but you wouldn't believe how long we searched for something that would dry easily, be comfortable for every day and we could do minor hiking in. I found my size, but then he couldn't and vice versa, and we went to six stores for these shoes. Zappos.com made it a LOT easier and a lot less stressful. And, these are the perfect airport/ traveling shoes. They are mesh, so your feet breathe, and you can wear them with socks - they slip off and on easily (just tighten the laces when you put them back on and away you go). I love them. Thinking of getting them in another color combo!

Shoe Arch: Moderate arch support
Great shoes, not perfect. These are great all-purpose shoes. I wanted a shoe to wear on my adventure vacation in Belize. I wore them hiking, jogging, snorkeling, river tubing and climbing Mayan ruins. They are most comfortable with socks. Without socks, I get blister on my heels. Be sure to wear these in before you use them - If I hadn't my feet would not have been in good shape. They are true to shoe size, not sneaker size. I am a true 7.5 and they fit me perfect. They dried really fast and I could wear them everyday without them being damp. They seem to be slip-resistant as I never slipped while hiking over wet rocks. I also like that you can step on the heel and wear them like sandals. I bought the cerulean blue color and they are beautiful! Overall, a great multi-purpose shoe if you want to pack light.

Lacking Functionality - The tightening devices for both the top of the shoe and the heel does not work. I was so excited after I first put these shoes on because I was able to get a perfect fit and they were major comfortable. Then I proceeded to walk about five steps and that was all it took to find out how well these shoes would work. The heel loosened up so much that the rest of my foot sloshed from side to side within the shoe and I almost fell down. The shoe was tight enough to not fall off my foot, but so loose that I tripped on the shoe itself-I did not trip on my other foot or on something hiding on the floor-but the friggin' shoe itself!!! I was highly disappointed.

Looks great but... This shoe looks great but it has a couple of problems. The heel straps don't stay tight. I keep having to stop walking and kick my heel up to pull the strap tight again and again. Also the front outside stitching digs into my little toe, it hurts a lot after awhile, and it's only on the right shoe that this happens. I can say that Zappos sets the standard for online ordering. I ordered this shoe on Sunday I got them on Tuesday, they where the wrong size. They sent the next size up and I had them the next day!! I had two weeks to return the other pair. I LOVE ZAPPOS!!!

NOT non-skid, but feel good on - Found out the hard way by slipping on deck of a 34-foot yacht that the outsole - as tough looking as it is - is not non-skid. So don't buy for sailing. Otherwise, they are fine.

A great shoe. Just wore them hiking and cave-tubing in Belize and got them soaking wet, but they were dry and comfortable two days later to wear as my "comfy shoes" in the airport. The insoles are attached with velcro and slip right out for more thorough drying. I'd buy another pair (and probably will).

Great shoe! Great fit! Had little to no trouble getting used to the shoe. It is light and airy, and will be great for summer hiking and being near water or wet grass. They dry quickly on your feet. I've had plantar fasciitis, so I am fussy about the support. The shoes are great!!

Salomon Techamphibian - This is a great shoe for people with hot feet - it has super ventilation. Even if you don't plan to exploit its amphibious nature it is a great everyday sneaker. Very durable.

Love it. This was my second pair of Techamphibian’s. They're comfy, cool, and have great traction. Perfect for camping, light hiking, and in the water. My only complaint about this shoe is that the back strap doesn't stay tight, but it's not a big problem.

Awesomest shoes yet!! These shoes are the best! I’ve been wearing them to work (hospital) for no less than 14 hours and they never let me down. Not a single rub on my feet from day one and never wore socks all those hours. Imagine when I actually wear them on trail runs and water rafting?!!! Hate socks in the winter time so I will be wearing these throughout the year...

Comfort and style - I am enjoying my 2nd pair of Salomon Techamphibian. My first pair was given to me by my son who is an Interperative Ranger at a state park in the mountains of North Georgia. I used them to hike in the mountains of Mexico to see the Monarch butterflies overwintering. My new pair I use on the job as a 7th grade Life Science teacher. I am on my feet all day. These shoes are very comfortable and have great support.

Salomon Techamphibian - Overall a good shoe. Will have to wear with wool socks to accommodate size, but I bought these for cold water boating so that's okay.

New to Zappos and Salomon Tech - I recently had an invasive foot surgery (bone graph) and screws etc. and a friend told me about your website and shoes. I was first impressed with the customer service and expediant delivery. I was headed to the beach and was quite pleased with the support and easy dry and comfort of this shoe. I am not able to wear my orthodics yet (pronation) but will look at this at a later time. I was not able to wear a tight shoe, so the fact I could slip in and out of this shoe with ease was appreciated. I was also not sure to get a 9 1/2 or 10 because all my shoes are one or the other depending on brand. I went with the smaller size and the fit was perfect. I will definately look for my next pair here. tammy

Amazing!!! This shoe is amazing! I haven't yet tried it out, but I already love it! It looks great! I have the pink and grey pair. They look really realistic in the pic, but even better in person. I recommend this buy!

Choose these water shoes! I am so glad I bought these water shoes! I have very bad feet and wear orthotics. My foot doctor said I could not use them in the water shoes since they would get ruined. I had no choice but to do without and wow, I was pretty much fine. I climbed Dunn's River Falls in Jamaica. The climb to the top of the falls, challenging to say the lease. These shoes had great traction and the sizing was good as well. Sometimes, the laces that meet at the top became lose so I had to pull them together a few times, still, if you are looking for good support, traction and durability, choose these water shoes! I even called my foot doctor and told him about this item.

This shoe is everything it promises - My fiancée and I are going tubing through a rainforest, and needed more than simple "water shoes", but you wouldn't believe how long we searched for something that would dry easily, be comfortable for every day and we could do minor hiking in. I found my size, but then he couldn't and vice versa, and we went to six stores for these shoes. Zappos.com made it a LOT easier and a lot less stressful. And, these are the perfect airport/ traveling shoes. They are mesh, so your feet breathe, and you can wear them with socks - they slip off and on easily (just tighten the laces when you put them back on and away you go). I love them. Thinking of getting them in another color combo!
