Based on the other reviews, I got these in an 8.5 (I'm usually an 8). They were way too large! I ended up getting a 7.5W which fits perfectly.

Style & Comfort - These shoes are stylish yet comfortable. They are well made and, since I have a high instep, the adjustable straps make the shoe very comfortable.

Run a little small, good cushioning - I got these shoes to wear sailing. They are pretty darn cute, but run a bit smaller than I had expected. Because of this, I never got to wear them out on the boat. I did not re-order because I'm a little bit concerned about the blisters I might get (I've got super sensitive feet) walking to and from the harbor. But they do have the standard Sperry soles, so I imagine they provide pretty good traction. Instead, I'm going to go a different direction and order some Teva's (with non-marking soles).

Love it! A much more feminine alternative to a tennis shoe but with the same comfort. I'm hard to fit. Always falling between a 7 and 6 1/2. I ordered the 6 1/2 and it's perfect without having to where an insert.

Cute comfortable, fairly practical shoe - This shoe runs true to size and a bit narrow, which suits my foot perfectly. Very cute! I bought the navy blue color. Shoes have very thick, removable insole.

Beach girl shoes - These are THE BEST shoes for a beach girl who lives in the NORTH and hates to wear typical shoes!! These shoes are the next best thing to great sandals...very cushiony and airy. These do not make your feet sweat and wish for sunnier days!! I plan on getting A PAIR, of every color. They are just about the most comfortable shoes I own. LOVE THEM !!!

Bad apple? Ripped after less than 3 hours of wear - This was my first Sperry Top-Sider purchase. The shoe looks great, fits well. Unfortunately, after less than 3 hours of primarily indoor wear (except for a trip to the mailbox) over several days, the perforated leather on the front right side of the left shoe pulled away from the shoe opening entirely. I've returned the item and will not replace with this style.

Cushy and Comfy - I love this shoe. I first order and 8 1/2 my usual size. They were too small. But I could tell that there was enough about this shoe that I liked that I was willing to try another size. I ordered the nine and I am very pleased. It is really well padded in the sole and has lots of cushion for rough walking. I ordered the blue and it's a lovely, solid, clear blue color.

Great for boating - These shoes are a great combination of function and style. The bottoms grip nicely on boat surfaces and the shoes are comfortable for general walking. The one complaint I would have is that the strap is a little short -- there is just barely enough to attach to the velcro strip.

Cute & fun shoe. Very comfy & well-constructed, cute with denim skirts, khakis, jeans, etc. Only problem is that it's a little too narrow in the toe for athletic socks, but a bit sweaty without them!
