Really good shoes for volleyball in the dirty gym! I have been playing indoor volleyball for 25 years and I always wore volleyball shoes until I found these shoes. Because most of gyms are not clean like I usef to play in, I had been having a problem slipping around and I hated it, but with these, I can do any sudden movement without any problem! You might think that these don't have much ankle support,,but I am okay about that. By the way, I only wear ASICS shoes, they are the best! I bought men's size 8.5(last time I bought women 10, they both feel the same way!

ASIC delivers again - I got a pair of ASICS GT-2120 for road running a while ago. From Zappos, of course. The shoes were light and comfortable to run in. Later on, I wanted to get a pair of trail/off-road running shoes so I don't dirty my road running shoes. I went with Solomon brand initially. While the construction was sturdy and looked great, they gave me blisters on both pinky toes. Bah hum bug. I returned them to a department store where I got them from (the department store has no-question-asked return/refund policy for members so that's cool). Anyway, back to the hunt for off-road running shoes. Browsed a bit on Zappos. Since I like my ASICS, I checked to see what they have. I ran across GT-2120 Trail. I ordered them from Zappos and got them the next day (fast!). Sure enough, ASICS delivers on comfort and fit. The soles look pretty solid, but the body is constructed of similar material as the regular 2120. I got the feeling they won't last long (perhaps I'm pre-judging -- we'll see). They don't look super cool to me initially but they are getting easier on the eyes the more I wear them.

Great start!!! I did love the comfort and stability in the shoe. I just thought they would hold up longer. I wore them out after 4 months. Maybe I am being unfair. I do weigh 200#. My toe started busting through after 2 months and they started collapsing about 3 months. I dont think I ran more that 20 miles in them but did wear them everyday. I would buy again though. I really like the feel.

2nd pair of Asics Trail runners - This is my second pair; I walk a dirt trail four or five days a week 3 to 6 miles a day and hike when I can on the weekends. Dirt, sticks, and stickers don't get inside the shoe; it fits snug at the heel and top. They grip when the trail is muddy and slick, my feet stay cool, and they have great support and cushioning inside. What more could you ask----maybe better looking, but I'm willing to compromise looks for comfort and performance.

Asics is the only shoe I trust - Hurt like heck the first time I ran but I think that's because my other shoes were so worn out and my feet weren't used to new shoes. They have felt great ever since. I need cushioned shoes and Asics has always delivered. The only brand I've used for the past 6 years. Great shoe and they look sweet!

A step backwards from the Eagle Spirits - I have worn Asics running shoes for over 20 years, most recently in the GT-2xxx series starting with the GT-2040s. The GT-2120 road and trail shoes are a step backwards compared to the GT-2110 road and Eagle Spirit trail shoes they replaced. The new shoes offer the same stability but noticeably less cushioning. This makes them much worse on the road (although about equal for trail running). The Eagle Spirit was a better mixed road/trail shoe than the GT-2120 Trail. I could take the Eagle Spirits out for a short road run. After one time, I will never make that mistake with the 2120 Trails. The 2120 Trails do not have the cushioning for road use (and the 2120 road shoe has less cushioning than the 2110 road shoe). The 2120s are also wearing faster than the Eagle Spirits did. The Eagle Spirits lasted almost a year as running shoes and another year as run around tennis shoes. I doubt I'll get more than 6 or 7 months out of the 2120 Trails with less use since I can't do road runs. Otherwise the shoes are similar for stability and appearance. If you are a middle of the road runner of average weight, these are a decent cost/performance compromise (although 2110s or Eagle Spirits on closeout would be a much better value). The 2120 Trails do have a little better grip under the arch than the Eagle Spirits did.

Best of both worlds - I'm a serious runner, but I tend to do more trail running than hitting the pavement. I had a stress fracture during track season which was caused from running on a track in really bad condition. Anyway, I got these shoes because they combine the revered 2120 upper with a great traction mid. The minute I slipped on was the minute I was convinced. These shoes were comfy and firm out of the box. I never owned a pair of Asics, but that will change from here on out. Thank you Zappos for such speedy service.

Pikes Peak Marathon - I knew the 2120 trail shoes worked great. I'm 6'3" and 200 lbs and love the stability and comfort in this lightweight trail shoe. With 1 week before flying to Colorado for the Pikes Peak Marathon and no time to visit the local specialty shoe store, I went to Zappos. I was surprised to learn of the free overnight shipping and even noticed they carried the newest colors. It was a no-brainer to trust my size 13's to Zappos.

Asics GT-2120 is da bomb!! After buying my first pair of Asics a few years ago, it was time for a new pair of shoes and I decided to go back to Nike (big mistake!). They were almost a $100.00 pair of shoes and they fell apart within a month. Then I ordered a pair of Adidas and it was a nice shoe, but they felt half a size too small (I wear a size 15 and this is the largest they make). I finally ended up going back to Asics and I'm completely happy with this shoe. I won't be suckered in to buying Nike or Adidas ever again. Get this shoe!! Your feet will thank you for it!

Great trail shoes - Ok, I've always worn Nike running shoes for both road and trail, but it looks like I'm an Asics convert thanks to these shoes. Wow, do they work great. Lots of cushioning, nice and neutral and grippy on the trails. Plus, they look great. They fit my narrow feet really well, so folks with shovel-feet may have a problem. I'm 6'3" and 220lbs with a neutral stride and these shoes are working for me.

Nice Crossover Shoe - As I expected, this shoe is a nice addition to the Asics line, which so far have been great fits for my feet. Not sure they actually "feel" a full size larger, but in running shoes I always take a full size larger than my regular shoes. I have average feet, with average arches (so I have little idea whether they will accommodate orthotics or the quality of the arch support). A bit pricey, but much cheaper than a speedboat.

I was looking for a comfortable, light pair of shoes to walk around in that had were water resistant (live in Seattle ><) and I must say Im very glad I bought these!! They aren't quite as comfortable as the Asics 2110s, their most comfortable running shoes, but pretty close. If you've ever walked around in the Asics 2100 series you know that they feel AMAZING...like walking on bouncy pillows, my feet never get tired walking around in em all day. As I said earlier, these guys are close, but for trail shoes are EXCELLENT. Tried on other brands like Columbia, Salomon, Adidas, Nike, Northface trail runners...as far as comfort goes, they all pale in comparison. Only brand I'm not sure on is NB, but those tend to be heavier shoes anyways. If you're looking for extremely well cushioned and light trail runners, get the Asics 2120s
