I became a fan of Keen footwear after purchasing a pair of Keen sandals for myself 3 years ago and I am still wearing them. One day my 3 year old grandson noticed my shoes and told me he "needed some of those". I thought to myself, he's right. What a great shoe for growing feet. So I bought him and my 15 month old grand daughter a pair. These shoes are very well made. I think my grandchildren will outgrow these shoes well before they wear out. They are an easy on/off, which I'm sure makes it easy for Mom and Dad.

Purchased the Newport H2 for our 18 month old son. They are a great sandal and I am very pleased with our pick. We got them in navy, and they look great with everything. Being that this was our son’s first summer walking; after a long search for a sandal, the Keen gave us everything that we were looking for. They are lightweight, closed toe, comfortable, and can get wet. So far they are an overall great shoe - may have to buy again next summer.

What a great kids shoe! I wanted a sandal with covered toes for my 2 year old daughter, but all of the girls sandals were either pink or had characters all over them! My sister recommended these after she discovered that her Keens washed up so well in the wash machine! After a week of daycare, I can just toss them in the wash and they come out looking brand new! A must have summer shoe for toddlers -- or anyone else! They do seem to run a little big. My daughter was growing out of her size 6 Stride Rites, and I ended up getting her a 6 in the Keens, and they fit fantastic, just enough room to grow!

These shoes are perfect for an active toddler. They seem to run about 1/2 size too big, though, and can leave little red marks on wider feet. My toddler doesn't seem to mind them on at all and can run and climb in them. One big downside is that they are very smelly. Can't seem to do anything to make them stop smelling.

I bought these for my 2 (almost 3) year old this summer. They look great, hold up very well, and seem to be quite comfortable... but damn, are they smelly! My son does not have issues like this with any other shoes. I can easily get the smell out, but every time he wears them it comes back. Definitely not buying these again, but only because of the smell.

Love the shoes they are the best pair that I bought for my 18 months old. A little spendy, but he loves the water and we like to play in the sand and go to the beach. Sometimes his foot ends up a little sweaty. Also lots of compliments from other people.

My 3 y/o twins are on their second pair of these great sandals. The first pair had to be replaced only because the boys outgrew them. We do a lot of trail walking (can't exactly call it hiking with 3 y/o kids in tow) and these shoes are perfect. They can get wet, they have great traction, and they hose off easily. The absolute best part though is the toe protection. You really cannot go wrong with these sandals. A sizing tip: my kids feet are actually a size 7 according to one of those shoe store foot sizer thingamabobs. But a 7 in these sandals was too big. A 6 fits them well.

We bought these for our newly walking toddler as an alternative to Stride Rite, See Kai Run etc. and they are GREAT! We are outdoor people and our kid loves the water and muck so we had to have something that was comfortable and supportive but would hold up well to the water and woodland terrain. We weren't sure on the size but we measured her foot and went up to the nearest size (5.4 inches and we bought a 6). They are easy to get on and off and stay put when they are on, she is even learning to put them on herself. We will definitely be getting another pair when she grows out of these.

I bought these for my 18 month old because I wanted some sturdy summer sandals with toe coverage and stability, and they're just perfect. They look totally adorable and hold up well. The sizing is pretty generous because the toe box is so wide and roomy in Keen's.

AWESOME Water Shoe - My 2.5 year old is thoroughly enjoying these!!! He has been wearing these shoes to play out in the yard getting in and out of the wading pool and running in the sprinkler. He has yet to slip on the patio either! They have a great grip! They also dry quickly - as we leave them overnight and then start again the next day. He has also worn them at the beach. We bought the orange and they are super cute! I just hope they hold up for the long summer!

Great shoe! I ordered this shoe for my very active 18 month old daughter, and we both love it! She carries them around asking for them to be put on, runs and climbs like crazy in them and I've never seen any signs of rubbing or blisters (she wears them without socks). And they're cute to boot! Lots of compliments on them. They're a little big for her still, but so far haven't caused any tripping either. Great summer/outdoor shoe. I switch back and forth with the original pedipeds, though - since these are a hard sole with not much give.

Durable, true to slightly larger to size - Got these shoes for summer play for my 2 yr old son. He loves the orange color. He has to wear them with socks for now, but by the end of the summer we will probably go sock free. Stay on well, Velcro has staying power. Not the cheap Velcro that quits sticking after a while. I have the adult version they still look new after 3 years.

Kai's Mom - Purchased the shoes for a vacation in a few weeks. Loved the appearance. So far, our son has only worn the shoes for short periods around the house on carpet. The soles are very stable. With pudgy feet and a high instep, the shoes may be a bit snug before summer (more of a medium width). The rubber toe makes it hard to tell overall length.

Cute but smelly! We ordered these sandals for our 2 year old son at the beginning of the summer. They fit perfectly, looked super cute, and have held up extremely well all summer. My only complaint is that they make his feet stink! We've washed the shoes with anti-bacterial soap, air dried, but still his feet stink really bad after an hour or so of wear. We just wash his feet (and the shoes) when we get home from our outings. The shoes dry quickly and retain their shape and color. Overall, great shoes, except for the stinky feet factor! Not sure if I'll buy another pair next summer.

Great toddler sandal - I have a very active toddler and this will be his first summer walking so this is the perfect sandal for him. It protects all his toes and gives him great grip. Very easy for me to get them on his feet! Love it.

Love, love, love these shoes! I bought a pair for both my 1 year old and my 7 year old. They look sturdy and well made. The covered toe makes them wearable to school since they can't wear open toe shoes in school here. I went by previous reviews and would agree they run a half size smaller than marked, but my oldest says they are very comfortable and the baby doesn't want to take them off. Plus they are super cute on. You can't go wrong in buying these shoes for your active kids.

These are THE shoes for kids!! Because of the covered toe they can run like sneakers without worrying about tripping like in most sandals. You can wear Keens in the ocean, in the backyard with the sprinkler and they dry quickly. A little $$, but way worth the extra money for a shoe that lasts through several children!

Love at first, second, third sight - My son has a chunky foot - I believe the author Vickie Ione describes toddler feet as, 'pork cutlets with toe nails.' Well that describes our 16 month old's feet, so finding shoes that fit and support his active nature are nearly impossible to find...until these. They fit wonderfully, allow him to walk normally (good support, but not too stiff for a little one). These are great and create quite the fashion buzz- even in the city (SF) where style is all around. Great shoe!

Love, love, love these shoes! I bought a pair for both my 1 year old and my 7 year old. They look sturdy and well made. The covered toe makes them wearable to school since they can't wear open toe shoes in school here. I went by previous reviews and would agree they run a half size smaller than marked, but my oldest says they are very comfortable and the baby doesn't want to take them off. Plus they are super cute on. You can't go wrong in buying these shoes for your active kids.

These are THE shoes for kids!! Because of the covered toe they can run like sneakers without worrying about tripping like in most sandals. You can wear Keens in the ocean, in the backyard with the sprinkler and they dry quickly. A little $$, but way worth the extra money for a shoe that lasts through several children!

Love at first, second, third sight - My son has a chunky foot - I believe the author Vickie Ione describes toddler feet as, 'pork cutlets with toe nails.' Well that describes our 16 month old's feet, so finding shoes that fit and support his active nature are nearly impossible to find...until these. They fit wonderfully, allow him to walk normally (good support, but not too stiff for a little one). These are great and create quite the fashion buzz- even in the city (SF) where style is all around. Great shoe!
