Greatest shoe! I got my first pair of Keen sandals this summer and decided that this is the footbed for me. I love this shoe, and would recommend it to anyone looking for cute, comfortable, out of the box shoes for the summer.

If you want comfort, buy these shoes - These are very comfortable shoes. They are not dressy shoes. Great for everyday wear. They run larger and I had to exchange for 1/2 size smaller. Lightweight. Good for casual look. Very comfy. Good in the rain also.

Comfy - These are one of my many Keen shoes. Like the others, they are "most comfy". These are "working 8 hours on your feet" shoes. And very cute!

Best Shoe I've Ever Owned - Planned on breaking them in gradually, and wound up wearing them every day from the day I bought them. I had bad heel pain, in the mornings I could barely walk, and needed something non-mule or slide that I could walk a lot in. The heel pain was completely gone three days after I started wearing these, and that was after months of daily pain. What could be better? Getting compliments all the time on my cute shoes! Buy 'em.

Cute and comfortable - This shoe holds a record for me in that it is the first shoe in memory to NOT give me a blister, either upon first wearing or on a full day of walking. They feel great. Very comfortable to walk in and they feel secure on my feet and on any walking surface. HIGHLY recommend. In fact I think I'll be getting another pair in a different color ASAP.

My first pair of Keen sandals was purchased from a sporting goods store for my Christmas gift two years ago by a daughter who runs marathons for fun. I love them most for the comfort and the elation I get when strangers notice and compliment me for such choice of active wear. Your pair of Keen surprisingly arrived the day following my order. I would have wanted more arch support but wore them the next day and the next. They'll be my walking shoes on two week trip to Spain, etc. next month. I hope they will be as good as my first pair which are still in perfect shape. This new pair is dressier for casual wear and lighter on the feet of this physically active septuagenarian.

Sweet Pair of Shoes - This shoe is cute and versatile, feels great and broken in from the first wearing. I have some Keens from a few years ago, and compared to those, the Carmel have less arch support, but it is still moderate support. I wear 7W, and these fit fine, but if you have a narrow foot these might feel too big. The leather is soft and feels nice. The only con is that since the footbed is not suede or a soft fabric, but rather a smooth surface, it can feel a bit "sticky" (but not to the point of discomfort). I love Zappos' quick service!

Helping a gimp - I broke my foot (3 bones) last fall and must wear shoes with support. Getting tired of the granny look, my cousin recommended Keen. I have not been disappointed. I wear them everyday and they still look "new off the shelf". Will probably purchase another pair (sandals) soon.

WOW--fabulous Zappos & Fabulous Shoes - All my (long) adult life I have searched for a COMFORTABLE shoe casual enough to wear with jeans, slacks, shorts, and yet, ALSO dressy enough to wear with a skirt. Willing to pay nearly any amount for this rare treasure and finally, thanks to Zappos and Keen, I have found it. Keens Carmel. I have it in the lichen--a great neutral color that goes with nearly anything (When my order came, I threw myself a little fashion show, dragging things out to see how the Carmel looks with them and they're great with "everything".) (Disclaimer: stick to tailored or simple skirts-&-don’t try it with a pastel summer dress--it will just look like hell!) OK, fit and comfort: I wear an 8 and these fit just right. But I have funny feet--the left is a tad bigger than the right, have narrow heels and ankles and the front of my feet is chubby. Also, cannot wear totally flat shoes like ballerinas or earth type things that put your heel lower than the rest of your foot. I have to have just a bit of a heel or my back and hips and feet kill me. The Carmel solves all my foot problems! When I travel, my sightseeing always involves lots of walking--cobblestone streets seem everywhere in Europe so that means even more demand on shoes. And I just want to take one or two pairs of shoes, total on a trip. Well, I feel like Goldilocks: "This one is JUST RIGHT!" The black Carmels should arrive on Monday! Zappos--you're the greatest! PS--don’t look down at your feet when you first put these on--they make your foot look incredibly wide, fat and squatty, ugly and old lady-ish. Wait until you see them in a mirror though--then you realize that other people will only get views of them that are really cute!

Great walking shoe - I've worn these with skirts and capri pants in the heat and rain and they were very comfortable at all times. Did a lot of walking in them. Not a winter shoe but great for the summer.

Awesome Shoe - I got these to be versatile comfortable sandals that looked nice. They are amazing. The leather is soft and comfortable. I was able to walk a distance in them the first day. No pinching or squeezing anywhere! I don't always have good luck with shoes, but these are wonderful!

Broken-in fit right out of the box! These are terrific! They look great with dress casual attire and have a great springy sole that withstands hours of walking. Comfy right out of the box.

Wow - As other reviewers have said, these look and feel great. I bought the red and soon after putting them on ordered the black. I intended to use them as walking shoes, but they look so good I will wear them to work as well.

The most comfortable shoe I've ever worn! I bought for a vacation that involved lots & lots of walking. These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn, and I'm already a huge fan of Keens. Great, great arch support, lots of toe room and the leather is buttery soft. I was afraid the edge of the front section might rub but they are so soft it doesn't rub at all.

Comfy & Cute - Very comfortable and cute shoes, with a sporty twist on the classic Mary Jane style. Unfortunately, my size was not available in green, which I think is the best color for this shoe. The carob is a nice second choice. Zappos, as always, offered exceptional service.

Great shoe - This is a great pair of shoes. These shoes look very nice with dress-up clothes, and can handle the hiking trail as well. I am very happy with these and wish that I'd discovered them years ago.

My Second Pair of Carmels - Normally, because my feet are troubled, I live in Danskos, but this summer, I was looking for a change, something with style. I work in a school, and a colleague said she was going to order Keen sandals, so I checked these out. I am so glad! I actually prefer these to my Dansko sandals. I have bought the Deep Lichen and Black, wore them right out of the box - no break in time- no blisters - total comfort - like pillows on my feet - and a supportive sole for my Morton's Neuroma. I can pair these with tights in the fall to wear with skirts to work. Very versatile.

Everything I Was Looking For - I have terrible feet; structural problems, bunion, and a recent very uncomfortable foot injury. I wanted a summery shoe/sandal but for my job it had to have a closed toe. And since I'm on my feet pretty much all day comfort was a top priority. This shoe fit the bill in every way. I have been thrilled with it. It's comfortable and very attractive with skirts for work. I bought some toe socks that just fit over my toe with a little padding under the metatarsals and it doesn't show and the rest of my foot is bare and cool. I plan to continue wearing this shoe into the fall and will change to tights when the weather cools off. If it ever wears out I'll buy another pair.

Nice :) We can wear sandals to work, but they must be closed-toe and non-skid for safety reasons. These shoes are perfect. My toes are safely and beautifully covered. They are dressy enough for skirts, but also look great with shorts and jeans. Usually, I would order a size 7 or 6.5 Wide. I decided to follow the other reviews, ordered a size 6.5 and it fits comfortably. I ordered them on Saturday. They were delivered to me on Monday, during my lunch break. I put them on and wore them back to work, straight from the box! No need to break them in. I really like these sandals. I plan on buying another pair in a different color.

Everything that other reviewers said is true- it just fits from the beginning, it's comfortable and wide enough even in a medium size - it looks a little sporty though. I bought the shoes for a vacation in Europe and they served me very well. As always, thanks to Zappos for its incredible service.

More becoming than most Keens - These shoes are very comfortable, and good for walking, though not for the kind of all-day tourism walking that I can do in my Montereys (arch support not as solid, and no place for inserts). But they are not as clompy-looking as the Montereys. I have a high instep (Keen mary-janes and the Newport are too tight there), but this shoe is fine in that regard.

Great shoe - These sandals fit great as soon as I put them on. Didn't have to break them in. I wore them walking around New York for hours and they felt great. I ordered them a 1/2 size smaller than my regular shoe and made sure air could get into the front part. I do have wide feet, so it was a good match.

The most comfortable shoe...ever!!! I am a big fan of Zappos, but never ordered a pair of Keen shoes prior to these. These are the MOST COMFORTABLE shoe I have ever owned. I want to buy them in every color!! I purchased my true size (6.5), and they fit perfectly. Wore them the day after I received them, and everyday since. No rubbing, no marks, no discomfort!!! Buy them... you will not regret it!

Look:Awesome Shoe - I got these to be versatile comfortable sandals that looked nice. They are amazing. The leather is soft and comfortable. I was able to walk a distance in them the first day. No pinching or squeezing anywhere! I don't always have good luck with shoes, but these are wonderful!

Broken-in fit right out of the box! These are terrific! They look great with dress casual attire and have a great springy sole that withstands hours of walking. Comfy right out of the box.

Wow - As other reviewers have said, these look and feel great. I bought the red and soon after putting them on ordered the black. I intended to use them as walking shoes, but they look so good I will wear them to work as well.

The most comfortable shoe I've ever worn! I bought for a vacation that involved lots & lots of walking. These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn, and I'm already a huge fan of Keens. Great, great arch support, lots of toe room and the leather is buttery soft. I was afraid the edge of the front section might rub but they are so soft it doesn't rub at all.

Comfy & Cute - Very comfortable and cute shoes, with a sporty twist on the classic Mary Jane style. Unfortunately, my size was not available in green, which I think is the best color for this shoe. The carob is a nice second choice. Zappos, as always, offered exceptional service.

Great shoe - This is a great pair of shoes. These shoes look very nice with dress-up clothes, and can handle the hiking trail as well. I am very happy with these and wish that I'd discovered them years ago.

My Second Pair of Carmels - Normally, because my feet are troubled, I live in Danskos, but this summer, I was looking for a change, something with style. I work in a school, and a colleague said she was going to order Keen sandals, so I checked these out. I am so glad! I actually prefer these to my Dansko sandals. I have bought the Deep Lichen and Black, wore them right out of the box - no break in time- no blisters - total comfort - like pillows on my feet - and a supportive sole for my Morton's Neuroma. I can pair these with tights in the fall to wear with skirts to work. Very versatile.

Everything I Was Looking For - I have terrible feet; structural problems, bunion, and a recent very uncomfortable foot injury. I wanted a summery shoe/sandal but for my job it had to have a closed toe. And since I'm on my feet pretty much all day comfort was a top priority. This shoe fit the bill in every way. I have been thrilled with it. It's comfortable and very attractive with skirts for work. I bought some toe socks that just fit over my toe with a little padding under the metatarsals and it doesn't show and the rest of my foot is bare and cool. I plan to continue wearing this shoe into the fall and will change to tights when the weather cools off. If it ever wears out I'll buy another pair.

Nice :) We can wear sandals to work, but they must be closed-toe and non-skid for safety reasons. These shoes are perfect. My toes are safely and beautifully covered. They are dressy enough for skirts, but also look great with shorts and jeans. Usually, I would order a size 7 or 6.5 Wide. I decided to follow the other reviews, ordered a size 6.5 and it fits comfortably. I ordered them on Saturday. They were delivered to me on Monday, during my lunch break. I put them on and wore them back to work, straight from the box! No need to break them in. I really like these sandals. I plan on buying another pair in a different color.

Everything that other reviewers said is true- it just fits from the beginning, it's comfortable and wide enough even in a medium size - it looks a little sporty though. I bought the shoes for a vacation in Europe and they served me very well. As always, thanks to Zappos for its incredible service.

More becoming than most Keens - These shoes are very comfortable, and good for walking, though not for the kind of all-day tourism walking that I can do in my Montereys (arch support not as solid, and no place for inserts). But they are not as clompy-looking as the Montereys. I have a high instep (Keen mary-janes and the Newport are too tight there), but this shoe is fine in that regard.

Great shoe - These sandals fit great as soon as I put them on. Didn't have to break them in. I wore them walking around New York for hours and they felt great. I ordered them a 1/2 size smaller than my regular shoe and made sure air could get into the front part. I do have wide feet, so it was a good match.

The most comfortable shoe...ever!!! I am a big fan of Zappos, but never ordered a pair of Keen shoes prior to these. These are the MOST COMFORTABLE shoe I have ever owned. I want to buy them in every color!! I purchased my true size (6.5), and they fit perfectly. Wore them the day after I received them, and everyday since. No rubbing, no marks, no discomfort!!! Buy them... you will not regret it!
