I ordered the Patagonia Morning Glory skirt in size large. I also ordered the matching top both in black. I had an issue with which size to get, but with the fast fabulous service of Zappos, had one back in the mail and exchanged within a matter of a couple of days. This top and skirt in black make a great backdrop to put fun colorful cardigans and jackets as well as draping of color in scarves, and what could be easier to throw on some great jewelry and a jean jacket. Couldn't be easier, very versatile.

Love this skirt! I have unfolded the waistband all the way and it is perfect to also wear as a bandeau dress! Super cute.

I like the way it fits in the waist, but the length is a bit awkward for my height (I'm 5'4"). It hits about 3 inches below the knee and isn't a particularly flattering length for me personally. The color is nice. The fabric is a bit thicker than I expected it to be, so it doesn't drape quite as flowingly as I thought it might. Overall quite comfortable, nicely made, but for me wasn't a total perfect fit.

I love this skirt! The foldover waist allows some adjustment in the length of the skirt without being bulky. I am typically a jeans person, but this skirt is comfortable. I don\'t know if it\'s wedding worthy, but it can definitely be dressed up a little, or just work with a tshirt.

I love this skirt: the fabric drapes beautifully and feels great. It's a good travel item, as it doesn't wrinkle, and I have it in elegant black and cool light blue -- goes with everything!

Although most of the reviewers used this skirt for outdoor activities, I bought it for work. It looks good with boots or flats. I plan to wear it with a sweater this winter. The fit is true; I wear a 4-6 skirt and the small is perfect. I am just under 5-8 and it falls mid-calf on me.

This skirt was exactly what I was looking for. It's a perfect casual skirt for everyday. I ordered this in two sizes, medium and large. Both fit me around the waist because of the stretchy material but the large was longer which I preferred.

Soft, cool and comfortable - The skirt is a true fit, very soft and cool for the very hot day. I do not wear pant so I'm always look for the cool in the summertime and warm in the winter, this is the most comfortable skirt I have purchased in a while for the summer and I probable will order in all colors.

This skirt didn't work for me-- I wanted a basic black travel skirt, and this one isn't quite right. The tech fabric is stretchy and a bit shiny (like yoga pants) and quite thick. The fold-over waist band would probably get quite hot in certain climates. Also, there is just a lot of fabric on this very full skirt. If you're looking for a skirt for travel that folds small, this isn't the right bet. But could work as a casual skirt, if you like the style.

I’m pretty particular about how my clothes fit, so I was pleasantly surprised. This skirt looks really nice. It’s stretchy but still fitting in the waist. It’s very comfortable and hangs/flows nicely. It may even be slimming. It’s a nice dark blue (i.e., it doesn’t look black). I was afraid it would be too casual, but it’s not—it will work just fine for work. I think I’m really gonna enjoy this skirt. I recommend giving it a try.

Morning glory skirt - review - This skirt is quite comfortable and appears to be very durable. Though I've only worn it in casual situations, I wouldn't hesitate to take it on a camping trip or other outdoor activity. It's pretty enough to wear socially, but rugged enough to handle harder use.

The fabric surprised me - This 'tech' fabric is definitely different and not something I expected (I've never owned Patagonia tech before) but is versatile and something I think I will enjoy. You can dress it up or down. It isn't as stretchy you would expect with the wide waistband, so I'm going to have to order a size larger than I normally would.

Tech fabric in a skirt - I love this skirt. It's extremely comfortable; I can wear it to work and around the house. The only reason I don't give 5 out of 5 stars is that my husband (not a fashion editor) thinks tech fabric works better for shirts and my daughter (a fashionista) thinks it looks a little goofy. The fold over waistband, while extremely comfortable, does look better on days that my tummy is flatter than those days when it is not.
