Zamberlan Java XCR® They are great!! comfortable and look great--if it really matters they are not made in Italy as claimed in the ads--they are made in china it says so on the boots

Almost perfect - Beautifully made except for a wrinkle/blister on each shoe's toe box. Excellent materials, good workmanship and last, well cushioned yet stable, and promotes a healthy stride. At the forefoot, they felt a little narrow out the box, but, after a short while they felt perfect and have thus remained. At the end of the day, feet and lower leg are not tired; these shoes seem to want to go. The Java is perfect for my intended use: day hikes, and only pair when traveling. I received them quickly, and I am pleased both, with Zappos and Zamberlan. Quick comment, Meindl boots are also great, maybe you should carry them.

Very well made, carefully engineered shoe. The fit is supportive in a way that cradles the foot without restricting movement but at the same time gives the feeling that your foot is protected. Buy this shoe. It is a bit more expensive than some, but well worth the extra $$.

Cold, wet feet no more! Purchase of these shoes was prompted from a walk I took alongside one of our rivers in November. Although the day was stunning, my wet, cold feet put an awful 'damper' on the day. I bought these shoes and never had to break them in. I no longer worry about the walks that I know I will take this winter. Great comfort; great grip (I like woods too); and I'm thoroughly satisfied with my purchase.

Great Boot - Just bought these. I put them on and they felt great! Took a walk to break them in a little. Really didn't need to break them in. They look great, feel strong and well made. Buy these boots. Thanks to Zappos also for there awesome service. Can’t beat free overnight shipping!
