Great hiking boots! I followed the advice of earlier reviews and got a half size larger than I normally would. After hiking about 20 miles in them over the past few weeks, I had no blisters. The toe box is nice and roomy while the heel fits snug enough to not move around and cause friction. They have sturdy soles, but flex in the forefoot, making them comfortable for walking. These are the best hiking boots I have owned. Zappos rocks!

Great Hiking Boots for Women- These are the first pair of hiking boots that have not given me blisters on my heel when starting a backpacking trip. The break in was fast and they are really comfortable, waterproof and lightweight. I normally wear a 7.5 M and the 8M fit perfectly with heavy socks.

Great Boots - After trying on lots of hiking boots (Montrail Solitude, Montrail Torre, Vasque Wasatch, Lowa Renegade, Asolo Stynger, Raichle Mt Gtx & more), I found these to be the most comfortable. The fit around the heel is amazing-it really locks it in & stabilizes the foot. The flex is perfect; I hiked 26 mi w/a 35lb pack in 2 days w/ no blisters! This was without any break-in. I ended up getting a 1/2 size larger because in my usual size the top of my toe touched the top of the boots. The width is perfect for me, plenty of room in the toe box. I also bought a hiking insert ("Sole" is the brand) which really made the fit even better. FYI, the Asolo Stynger is very comfortable also, not quite as much arch support, though.
