Disappointing... I ordered these boots and the La Sportiva Makalus. The Makalus are beautiful, sturdy backpacking boots that are made in Italy. By comparison, these boots were cheap, lightweight and almost flimsy. They would be great for day hikes, but I couldn't imagine wearing these on an overnight trip. They are more like sneakers than hiking boots.
