Whoa - WOW!!! I LOVE these pants. They are so comfy and so so flattering. I just ordered a second pair in the espresso. Imagine -- looking cute while hiking? There's a thought!

Great pants--but 2008 fabric is NYLON - I bought these in 3 colors last summer and lived in 'em. They are cotton and very comfortable in even the hottest weather. I bought the espresso this year, and was surprised to find that they are now in a NYLON/Lycra blend. Kept them, as these are great pants, and the nylon blend is perfect for cool, rainy spring/fall/winter weather. But they will be too hot for summer. I hope Prana does offer them in cotton again this summer. I'd like some more! As for size: I too am a size 10 (like other reviewers). 140 -145 lbs. Decided on the large last summer, for comfort and a modern look, but they DO stretch as you wear them, so I may try a M this year. Or better yet, a 10.
Other shoes recommended by reviewer: Prana pants: the best. Zappos makes it easy to find the fit you want.

If I could have only one pair of pants... I'd pick these. They are as comfortable as sweats, but will flatter your behind. They have giant pockets, but they are so low that they do NOT make your thighs look big. The legs are a little long (I'm 5'2"), but they look good rolled up (so no sewing needed). When you zip off the bottoms, you've got cute capri pants. The fabric is cotton - great for hot days & cool evenings. Just buy 'em big - they look much better that way. I'm a tight size 10 (145 lb) and the mediums fit OK, but the large looks much more up-to-date and is so comfy. Thanks to Prana for making my favorite line of pants and thanks to Zappos for making it possible to get the right sizes for each style. (That free shipping is the key.)
Other shoes recommended by reviewer: Prana pants are the best. It may take a few tries to find the sizes you want in the styles you like.

Love these pants! These pants are great. I have all three colors. The fabric feels like cotton, but is really stretchy. They are really cute, comfortable and easy to convert from pants to capris. They are actually more of a long Bermuda short length. Are the perfect summer pants for me as I travel between Florida and British Columbia.

Fantastic pants - Love these pants. I am a size 10 right now, and ended up getting the mediums instead of the larges. They feel very tight at first, but stretch out in a short time -- much like jeans. Also, the spandex provides extra stretch in the fit. You might think the zippers and pockets would make these pants bulky, but they don't -- they feel very lightweight, great spring/summer pants. I love that they unzip below the knee instead of above, since I don't like to show a lot of thigh!
