Roomy and Lightweight - I am taking this bag on a three week trip to Europe tomorrow. Other Pacsafe products I own have stood up to the challenges of my travels so I expect this one to do as well. The fabric seems almost too soft and smooth to be durable so I will put it to the test. I wish the bag opened to the rear like my other larger Pacsafe backpack. This bag is very roomy for the size and should do great as a day bag around the city. I can easily fit my large camera, an extra lens, and a small rain jacket along with personal items. There are not a lot of pockets inside which I personally prefer.

Total Score! I was looking for the nearly impossible: a chic and unclunky 'backpack' to lug all my stuff around Manhattan to/from work/gym/store/lounge. Found it! I needed a backpack that didn't scream *BACKPACK!* Had it for over 3 months now and it's fantastic! Stylish enough, fits everything, but even when half full still dainty. VERY comfortable, and I've walked miles in NYC w/a laptop in this thing. The safety "clips" were annoying at first, but now I realize they are VERY efficient. I've gone through SO many backpacks (including my Prada nylon that got wrecked). If you're an urban gypsy like myself THIS is *THE* backpack!!

The perfect day-pack!!! I love my new Pacsafe. The size is perfect, the safety features are great, and it folds fairly flat for storage or putting in your suitcase. I absolutely love the fact that it is lined in taupe so that things are easy to find. Lastly, one of the straps unclips so you can secure it while eating or on long train or bus trips where you might be sleeping. No more eating meals in a crowded restaurant with your daypack in your lap!!! As always, the service at Zappos was superb. All of you involved with Zappos do a great job.

Great bag - perfect size for day trip - My 15 year old daughter and I just got back from a two-week trip to Europe. We each had one of these bags and found them to be the perfect size for a day trip. They were big enough to hold a sweater, guide books, sunscreen, sunglasses and hat - with a bottle of water and an umbrella in the outside pockets. Plus, the styling fit in well in Europe - it didn't scream "tourist". The security features came in very handy... as two women traveling alone, I think we looked like "easy" targets. Once we even felt the bag being messed with. Another time, the flaps were flipped up as if someone had tried to open it and one day we were trailed by two young men who we heard say "it's sealed". We felt MUCH safer with these bags. I would recommend keeping the brochure that comes with the bag inside it. Security in Italy questioned the wires that were visible on xray, but luckily the supervisor who was called over had seen one of these before. After that, the security crew stopped to admire it! Later at the Paris airport, the xray scan operator thought he saw a pair of scissors, which was the steel mesh. Sure, wearing it all day can make your back sweaty, but no more so than any other backpack. I would definitely recommend these bags and plan to use mine for a long time!

A great daypack - I originally purchased the Patagonia Pocketwire from Zappos, but three days later I happened to be in a travel store and spotted the Pacsafe backpack. The Patagonia bag was returned and now the Pacsafe is in my possession. Having endured too many "my shoulders are so sore!" from carrying a large tote on my day trips, I finally decided to buy a backpack instead. Backpacks always remind me of my school years, but the Pacsafe doesn't look like a normal book bag (and thus it doesn't scream "tourist" or "hiker" like other packs do.) The material is great - smooth and like a thick silk - lots of compartments and I like the side vent pockets, which are great for a water bottle and umbrella. Although I loved the light tan and sage color I saw in the store, I opted for the black because I use it for both winter and summer trips. The Pacsafe, however, lacks two items the Patagonia bag had: 1) there is no mesh, so your back does get sweatier and 2) the straps aren't as comfortable. But, overall, there will be many happy future travels with this pack.

WOW!! That was FAST! I order this bag YESTERDAY. The UPS guy dropped it off TODAY! Thanks for that speedy delivery. Now I can try it out with a quick weekend trip to Canada (Toronto area). And I'm looking forward to our trip next month to New Orleans. :) Fits real comfortable too.

Pleased with Roamsafe 100 - I travel often and dislike pocketbooks! This is lightweight attractive and well constructed and as I head to 16 days in Scotland and England, I look forward to having the secure Pacsafe on my back and not pulling on shoulders. There is enough room for essentials and camera, water, binocs, etc.
