So far these seem to be very comfortable boots. Wore them around all day and my feet felt great, and never got too hot. Vasque's last seems to fit my feet naturally, so perhaps I'm a little biased. Tried them out on an indoor ice climbing wall and the fit was great, with no heel lift. The BOA closure system seems effective -- we'll see how it performs in the field, how easily it breaks, etc. My only beef with these is with the useless little gaiters that come with them -- I could maybe use them as wrist cuffs, but there's no way I could get them over my calf, which isn't THAT big. Also, the hooks that attach the gaiter to the boot are a pain to use -- I couldn't imagine attaching them on a 3am alpine start with gloves on.
