Belt slips and cannot be snugged - I encountered same problem as another reviewer. The nylon belt is made of a smooth satiny nylon and the plastic buckle simply won't grip it. With that defect I can't cinch the shorts tight enough to wear. My first (10 years old and still going strong) pair of Gramicci shorts was made in USA, this pair was made elsewhere.

Gramicci shorts - The gussets make these the most comfortable shorts ever made. In addition, they last forever. Terrific clothing!

The belt and buckle slip constantly. The new Gramicci I got recently look and feel like the great old Gramicci, but when you tighten the belt, you soon find it slipping and soon your shorts are down around your knees. They won't stay up. Some new kind of belt material they're using doesn't work. Gonna be a lot of unhappy customers if the manufacturer doesn't catch this problem quickly.

GREAT SHORTS! These shorts are the best! I am a big shorts guy, who used to love wearing cargo shorts because of the look, feel, and comfort. After buying a pair of these on a whim, I will never go back. Definitely worth the money. On a side note, I’m 5'8" about 185, XL fits perfect to me, I like my shorts a little baggy, but not too baggy. Again, I don’t write reviews very often, but these shorts combined with Zappos amazing customer support and shipping options. I’m sold. Just waiting for more colors... hope this helps.

Great Comfort and Great wearing Shorts - I have been wearing Gramicci G shorts for about 10 yrs. and I love these shorts! I don't like most of the new shorts out today the inseam is to long for my liking, The G shorts have a 8 1/2 inseam that are just right I do everything in these shorts yard work ,casual dinner out and much more, Avery comfortable pair of shorts
Other shoes recommended by reviewer: these shorts any color !!
