Very Pleased - I read the reviews on this shoe & ordered them. I am really pleased with them. They are comfortable & easy to break in. I work security at an airport & am on my feet all day & they don't tire my legs out.

Seam ripped - boot not even one year old - I had these boots for almost a year. They were very comfortable for work and I recommended them to friends. Not even one year old and I put them on one day and discovered a tear in the seam. I was so disappointed as I have boots that I have had for many years and they are still intact. Very disappointed, will not buy these again.

Great shoe - I have a desk job so I am not on my feet all day, however I have a problem with my left foot and need a good shoe even for a little bit of walking. These shoes were so comfortable right out of the box. They are extremely supportive, I do not have to wear my orthotics with them. They look like high top tennis shoes and so much like a work boot. I highly recommend these shoes for anyone with foot or ankle problems. I also have the Stealth II for work around our farm and they are just as comfortable and supportive.

Magnum Wos Elite Spider 5.0 - For my job, I had to buy slip-resistant shoes that were also water-proof, black, and not tennis-shoes. I ordered these from Zappos, along with the Brooks Addiction Walker and the WORX by Red Wing 5505. I wanted to walk around the house trying all three kinds to see which was the most comfortable. Comfort was #1, and looks were #2. Out of the three brands I tried, I thought the WORX was ok, but the heel slipped out-also, the orange part on the black ties looked a little too Halloweenish! At 1st, I thought the Brooks were more comfortable than these but I left both on for a few hours because I so much preferred the way these looked over the Brooks. After some time with these on, I noticed that they were actually just AS comfortable as the Brooks, so I chose them because, unlike the Brooks, they had good toe protection AND were attractive. Let me add that - you know, Zappos will only accept returns if you do not wear the shoe outside and scuff up the bottom, so, have you ever noticed that sometimes a shoe is comfortable inside your house for a few hours, but then to wear it outside, all day, it is not comfortable but you cannot then return it because the bottom is scuffed? Well, you won't have that issue with these because Magnum offers a really great guarantee which is, you can still return them to Magnum, even after having worn them for up to 60 days. You really can't beat that! I've never seen a comfort guarantee like that on ANY shoe!

Great for use around metal detectors - These shoes are comfortable, lightweight and look professional. They do not have any metal shanks, which is great when working around metal detectors. They also have removable insoles so I could insert my own and the fit is fantastic. They have the comfort of a sneaker, the ankle support of a standard boot and they are breathable due to the mesh inserts along the sides. I spend hours on my feet but now I can be just a little more comfortable too.

FINALLY! I absolutely LOVE these shoes! I wear a size 11 and needed a work shoe that is suitable for law enforcement. This shoe is so comfortable I am tempted to wear them on my day off!

I have been wearing my Magnums for about two weeks now. They are very comfortable. I work 11.5 hours in these shoes and highly recommend. I work in law enforcement and these shoes look great with my uniforms. They are not big and bulky like some other brands I have worn.
