Lovely Shoe, Cheap Inserts - I have very fat piggie-wide feet, with a very low arch. I was afraid to order this online because some brands like New Balance make a 'wide' shoe that is not really wide. This shoe however really is wide! It was quite a surprise to actually have a shoe that my foot wasn't packed into. I was pleased that the size 9 was almost too long, which is good because I can run and my toe doesn't jam into the front. My problem is with the high arch/instep. It was so bad that I had to switch out the cheapo inserts from some Dr. Scholl’s. Even with the change though, the shoe’s arch is higher than I should wear with my plantar fasciitis. I may need to rearrange the insole or it might go down a bit after a couple wearings so I'm gonna hold on my final analysis because this is just such a good looking shoe on my foot. It makes my feet look slender. It's not as dingy as it appears in the screen image either. The insoles have a really high arch, are super flat and not even slightly squishy so if you like a 'bouncy' shoe expect to change out the insoles. I find that the regular Dr. Scholl’s for men work really well for wide women's feet. Especially with my super flat Ryka walking shoes it was wonderful. I no longer felt my foot rubbing against the edges of the sole. However with this shoe it seems to have a built in arch that might require an insole that has no arch support in it for me.

These asics were SUPER comfy except for one thing - the heel cup. It is probably great for other people, but my heels bruise easily and the heel cup on this shoe was just a tad bit off (for me) and pushed on my heel wrong. But I loooooved these shoes otherwise. They were really comfortable in every way, length, width, weight, etc.

The length is perfect. They are a bit wide in the toe bed so I have to wear a thick sock with it. I can easily fit my orthotic in this shoe.

Light trail shoe - This shoe fits like a glove (so to speak). It’s a very light shoe, especially for a trail shoe. I’d give up a little of the lightness for more toe protection.

I realize every foot is different. I have orthotics so once they were in place, arch was great. No break in time, love the color. Found I needed 1/2 size larger. Ran small for me. Had to up size by 1/2. Have to give thumbs up for Zappos. Great Company to do business with.

12 1/2 YESS!!!! I finally found a shoe in a 12 1/2. This shoe is extremely comfortable and required no break-in time. Colors are great (not too bright as someone else had stated). I, like many others have foot problems and must wear orthotics. They were easily accommodated by this shoe. Definitely recommend.

Great, comfy shoe - I have long, narrow feet (size 12- yikes!), but need a wide toe box. These shoes are terrific. Comfortable and don't look like they're size 12s.

Asics GT 2130 in 13b - This shoe is generous in size, and feels great. Did not seem to need much break in time, and after several weeks of wear seem to be ok. The tan and red is a nice alternative from the usual harsh white. I like this shoe enough to buy another pair in a different color. My only complaint would be that it "looks wide" while on my feet, but I wear a 13 anyway...

Comfortable - I find this shoe comfortable but should have ordered a 1/2 size down. I’m a die-hard Asics fan and usually take a 1/2 size larger than I would usually order. Also, this shoe is a little clunky looking, guess it's because it's a "trail style?" Anyway, instead of using it for work, this will be my treadmill shoe-when I use thick socks it fits just fine. Zappos is the ONLY place I will EVER buy my shoes--Great selection-and service second to none!!

Lives up to Asics standard - This is a great shoe. My only gripe is the color, but dirt blends in with the tan color which is nice. I hiked 10 miles in this shoe the first time I wore it and I love it. No rubbing or blisters. This shoe fits up to the standard of my GT 2120's (non-trail) that I love.

Great for problem feet! I just purchased this sneaker and I am very pleased with how it fits and feels. I've been wearing it around the house all day and I keep forgetting I have them on, which is unusual considering my problem feet. I have a wide toe box, a narrow heel, and tarsal tunnel syndrome. I usually wear a 7W in street shoes but typically order a half size larger with sneakers. The 7.5W in this shoe fit me just right. This sneaker has a nice roomy toe and does not slip in the heel (it grips lightly without hurting or rubbing). The toe area is very flexible but the rest of the shoe is more rigid, so I get firm support where I need it. The mesh prevents my feet from getting too hot. I like that they're tan as I hate bright white sneakers, though I could take or leave the red trim.

Comfortable and cushiony - These are extremely comfortable, lightweight, well-made running shoes with excellent cushioning and plenty of room in the toe box for wider feet. I find them great for running, walking or hiking in moderate off-road conditions, but for very steep, rocky trails the lugs on the sole do not have quite enough grip to make me feel secure. They feel so good I'm tending to wear them all day everyday.

Overall a good purchase - a bit deep, however - Beware: the cherry is BRIGHT PINK. It looks fine, but it’s not everyone's style. I have an INCREDIBLY difficult time finding an 8.5W running shoe that my heel doesn't slip in and that isn't solid white. This fit the bill on both of my counts, as well as fit great when I first put it on. Now after approx 15-20 miles walking & jogging, I find that the interior's a bit deep, but I'll likely buy a cushion to go in (mostly for the pads of my feet). Great look, great quality. A bit more than I wanted to pay, especially now that I'm adding an insole.

Another great shoe from Asics - I've worn Asics since 2000 and LOVE them. My previous Asics shoe (3000 series, not made anymore) were a 9.5, but I tried the Nimbus 9 and the 2130 Trail in a 9.5 and both were way too big. Finally settled on these trail shoes in an 8. Super comfy and absorb shock very well. The brown color means they don't show dirt as quickly as the white ones, and I love the cherry color.

ASIC's Trail trainer - The shoe is very smart, and quite comfortable. The suggestion to order one half size up was not appropriate for me. The support at the arch is quite good -- and narrow -- but the foot bed is very wide which unfortunately allows my foot (toes) to slide about from side to side so I'm a little unstable on rocky footing.

Great shoe!! I am a nurse and a 3 mile/day walker, my feet feel so much better with this shoe, it is amazing!! I have fairly wide feet and wear orthotics so I did purchase the "D" width but my true size...the shoe accommodates both the widest part of my foot and the orthotics without rubbing or feeling tight. Would definitely recommend!

Off the beaten path - I have always worn Nike’s and decided to try out Asics. I live in the country now, where the roads and surfaces are less than even. A trail shoe was what I needed. Right out of the box these shoes worked like magic. I love them for their stability, light weight and looks. I normally wear a size 7 but purchased these in a 7.5. I highly recommend the GT-2130 Trail and it is so nice to find a nice looking shoe that rocks the trails and the road!

Another great shoe from ASICS - I've loved every pair of ASICS I've tried, and these are no exception. They do run about a half size on the small size, so I recommend getting a half size larger than your normal shoe size.

My previous Asics shoe (3000 series, not made anymore) were a 9.5, but I tried the Nimbus 9 and the 2130 Trail in a 9.5 and both were way too big. Finally settled on these trail shoes in an 8. Super comfy and absorb shock very well. The brown color means they don't show dirt as quickly as the white ones, and I love the cherry color.

ASIC's Trail trainer - The shoe is very smart, and quite comfortable. The suggestion to order one half size up was not appropriate for me. The support at the arch is quite good -- and narrow -- but the foot bed is very wide which unfortunately allows my foot (toes) to slide about from side to side so I'm a little unstable on rocky footing.

Great shoe!! I am a nurse and a 3 mile/day walker, my feet feel so much better with this shoe, it is amazing!! I have fairly wide feet and wear orthotics so I did purchase the "D" width but my true size...the shoe accommodates both the widest part of my foot and the orthotics without rubbing or feeling tight. Would definitely recommend!

Off the beaten path - I have always worn Nike’s and decided to try out Asics. I live in the country now, where the roads and surfaces are less than even. A trail shoe was what I needed. Right out of the box these shoes worked like magic. I love them for their stability, light weight and looks. I normally wear a size 7 but purchased these in a 7.5. I highly recommend the GT-2130 Trail and it is so nice to find a nice looking shoe that rocks the trails and the road!

Another great shoe from ASICS - I've loved every pair of ASICS I've tried, and these are no exception. They do run about a half size on the small size, so I recommend getting a half size larger than your normal shoe size.
