Comfortable and practical - Comfortable, practical, non-nonsense sandal for every day use. Easy to adjust fit with Velcro closures, slight support from molded foot bed, non-chafing. Had the last pair of Teva's for 5 years and am happy to find the quality and comfortable fit have not changed in the replacement model.

Decent house shoe - I found the Teva Hurricane 3 a fairly comfortable house sandal. The arch is helpful, but the top strap feels a bit rough and tight if it is strapped to where it should be. And if it's not, then the sandal would be too loose.

Love My Tevas - It's difficult finding Tevas in my neck of the woods, so Zappos was a good deal even without the good price. Tevas are the most comfortable and capable sandals I have ever owned and require virtually no "break-in" to be comfortable. They are light and tough, attractive and a good value.

The lack of an adjustable back strap was a deal breaker - I really wanted to like this shoe, as I love my other Teva Terra-Fis, and these were half the price. However, without the adjustable back strap to push my foot forward a bit, the 12s were too big and the 11s were too tight. Even though I wear a 12 in everything else, I probably really needed an 11.5, but I couldn't find one.

Comfortable - The typical Teva. Only a bit thin through the sole, but that doesn't detract from the overall. I bought them for a quick slip on and go shoe. Im not hiking a mountain in them, so they worked perfect for me.

Horrible Hurricanes - These are the worst Tevas I have ever owned. The sole is too thin and doesn't cushion when walking in the river. Due to the sole being so thin, this make the ankles unsupported. I will be trying to return these shoes.

An inferior version of the Rafters Cascade - I can see exactly what some other reviewers are talking about with regards to the plastic ring rubbing against your skin. The Rafters Cascade sandals (which look like they may have been discontinued?) have a very similar overall design, but have a comfortable fabric pad underneath the plastic ring. BTW, I wear a 10.5, so interpret my "felt a half size smaller than marked" for the 11 accordingly.

Soles smell like burnt rubber - too stinky to wear - cheap synthetic sole (made in China). These reeked of burnt rubber when they arrived, but my husband said he wanted them, so I tried to get the smell out - first I put them through the washing machine - minor improvement. Theyve been sitting outside for 3 weeks, to air out, but they're still too stinky to wear.

Squeak, squeak, squeak - If I wear them for more than two hours in a day, I squeak everywhere I go. It's fine and largely unnoticeable outdoors, but in hallways it's pretty embarrassing. They are also somewhat difficult to clean, with the pitted design. Teva Hurricane 2 was better in this regard, with the thumbprint-style ridges. I suspect that that may also have alleviated the squeaking problem.
Other shoes recommended by reviewer: The Teva Hurricane 2 was better, but this is a good sandal.

A little disappointed - I've owned TEVA products over the years and have always been more than happy, but the Hurricane3 just disappointed me with the closures, fit (too tight in the heel with no real adjustment because of the strap placement) and over all fit ...

I can swim in the ocean wearing these shoes - These are a good all round shoe. I bicycle, swim and kayak in these rubber sandals. The shoes are very comfortable. I also have fat feet, wide feet. So I order the Mens size 7 Teva, so that I could have the wider sizing that comes with male sizes...The mans shoe looks just like the womans shoe. I wear a womans size 8 Teva and a mans size 7 Teva... great shoes.

Great except fell apart - I bought these to replace a pair of Chaco's that were rubbing a bit. The green khaki color is very nice, and they are incredibly light. Worked great on a two-week trip through Costa Rica where they got wet nearly every day. The only thing I had that actually dried. One caveat is that they're not great for climbing on rocks since the sole pattern is flat rubber and not very grippy. Despite all those good features, the killer problem for me is that the two pieces of rubber in the right sole started coming apart after about three weeks of use. That's a pretty severe fundamental failure.
