These were very comfy right out of the box. They are very stable and breathable. Zappos upgraded my shipping so I ordered them at night and was wearing them the next day. You can't beat that!

Amazing shoe! These shoes were immediately comfortable and fit true to size. They have a very nice arch support in them. I hiked 39km in 3 days without having to "break these shoes in". The toebox is wide enough to make downhill descents manageable. Highly recommend these shoes.

Disappointed. You can't really tell from the photo, but these shoes have a mesh material that surrounds most of your foot and it's very porous. So much so that during my hike last weekend these shoes filled with sand. I also stepped in a shallow puddle and my feet were wet instantly. I'm really disappointed because they are very cute for hiking shoes, but if you're a serious hiker like I am, I guess you can't avoid it, you have to buy ugly high-tops with water-proofing. Oh, well.

I ordered these shoes to wear to work and they are serving me well! I liked the neutral color, and the fact they are lightweight mesh means they are cool. They are very comfortable and feel true to size and width. Seem to have good support. I also ordered the mens version for my husband. He didn't feel they were true to size and we had to return his. That said, the return was painless; printed out the return label and sent them back and within days had a credit on our credit card account. I have ordered from Zappos several times and have never been disappointed with the service. Great company that others should follow!

Comfortable and Cool. These shoes are quite comfortable, especially if your feet are a little wide. I replaced the inside foot pad with a gel pad and they were even more comfortable. They have excellent ventilation. I'm quite happy with these shoes.

Salomon's Exit Aero - This is the first pair of Salomon's I have tried and I am so glad that I ordered them. I first ordered a size 9 which were a little big so I exchanged them for an 8 1/2 and those were perfect. I ordered these shoes for an upcoming trip to Washington and I am looking forward to wearing these shoes for the whole trip. The feel of this shoe is so comfortable and the quality of this shoe looks and feels like they will last for years to come. I highly recommend these shoes and the Zappos site. I have had nothing but great experiences with Zappos from the fast shipping to the easy exchange policies. Thank you Zappos.com.

Comfy shoe - I purchased these shoes before a trip to Savannah, Ga. I did a lot of walking- they gave me great support and were comfortable. My feet didn't sweat. I might should have purchased a 7 1/2- they felt a little wide around the back of my foot.

Perfection! I am ordering two more pair of these to keep around after this pair wears out. I don't want to risk not being able to get them again in the future. These shoes feel better than any light hiker I've owned in several different brands. No break in needed, they felt great right out of the box on a 10-mile hike. They are very comfortable, very light, very well made. I was looking for something a little more stable than the Salomon Techamphibians I wear almost exclusively but didn't want to give up the breathability of the mesh. Also, the Amphibs let too much debris in for conditions where water isn't expected. This shoe meets all my needs. The thin inner mesh with smaller holes keeps dirt and trail litter out yet drains quickly of water and is light and breathable. I have a wider foot and these shoes feel like they were custom made for me. I did have to go up a half size, but Salomon shoe styles are very inconsistent in their sizes to begin with. I wear anything from an 8 to a 9.5 in the 5 different women's Salomon styles I own.

I loves me some Salomon's - I bought these shoes for work- I stand all day long. I also have plantar fasciitis, so I needed to be able to accommodate my orthotics. These shoes are soo comfortable. My orthotics fit perfectly, there is plenty of room in the toe box, and no heel slippage. I have tried and rejected many pairs of shoes lately, due to those issues. I feel fortunate to have found these- I want another pair. Oh, yes, they are also great for walking in too. The soles have good grip.

wow - I just got these Exit Aero today (shitake w/yellow). They are by far the most comfortable and yet supportive shoe I have ever tried. They feel like they were made for my feet. I ordered a pair of Nike and Keens at the same time and I'm sending back the Nike. I may have to keep the Keens. They are too cute!! But the Salomon fits the best of all. I plan to use them for every day. I take a 7.5 or 8.0 and I ordered the 7.5 which fit great.

Great light hiker - This is a great shoe for light hiking. It is very stable despite having quite a bit of mesh on the sides. Has plenty of room in the toes-and I have a wider foot-in case a thicker pair of socks is to be worn. No hot spots or rubbing points. Wore it right out of the box for a four hour walk/hike and no blisters!
