Very Comfortable shoe, but... This is not a shoe for river walking. This shoe gets very slippery while walking on rocks that are underwater. Does allow you to walk on the wet rocks above the water and also has good traction on the algae on the rocks.

I wear the shoe for water aerobics and find that it supports my foot. The toe slightly turns up, which is necessary for water walking. The shoe dries overnight, but, of course, I am in hot Florida. I wear a large size and the shoe looks good on me.

A versatile (albeit stinky) shoe. I bought these shoes for a 3 week river trip through the Grand Canyon. They performed beautifully, going from river to vertical trail with ease and enough room to wear a sock under. I even wore them on the flatter terrain of Vegas' many miles of sidewalks on my way home where I now wear them to garden in. However, even though I let them dry out between wears antimicrobial footbed or not, they reek. I've NEVER had a pair of shoes smell, even the ones I don't wear socks with and these leave an odor on my feet that even soap and hot water won't take off. Thus, they'll probably never leave my backyard again.

Great shoes - I wore it everyday for rafting, kayaking, canyoneering, horseback riding, hiking, and swimming. It was very comfortable and seamless as the terrain varies.

Keeps your feet cool - I was a little hesitant to purchase the Aquatooth - my first concern was comfort because I have problems with nerve damage in one foot and my arches are very high; also, I just wasn't sure about the look. It's actually very cute on and it makes my foot look much smaller than my actual size 9. As I walk, I can feel the air blow through the shoe. I wore them on vacation while we shopped at an outdoor mall all day, in the hot summer sun. My feet, which normally swell in the heat, stayed quite comfortable - no swelling at all. Only problem I had was the drainage holes on the bottom of the shoe - I got a couple of small blisters where those holes are, but the blisters were gone the next day. Just a matter of working in the shoe I think. That was my first time wearing them so it's to be expected. I do think the insole could be a little more comfortable - it's sorta like wearing rubber or plastic shoes and those always hurt my feet. May just be me though as I have very sensitive feet. These shoes are well worth the cost and I'll certainly consider another pair in the future. I'd like to try them in other color combinations. This was my first purchase of the Columbia brand of shoes as well. Very well made shoes. I plan to look at other styles in this brand. Regarding Zappos' service: I ordered 3 pairs of shoes mid morning on a Thursday. They were delivered early morning the next day. My shipping was upgraded with no additional charge. I've never received an order that quick, even when I paid to upgrade to next day air shipping. I highly recommend the Columbia Aquatooth and Zappos in general for outstanding product and services.

WOW - I work outside in high heat delivering mail and I like water sports. This shoe is great for both. Comfortable, great breathability with nice arch support. Do order a half size larger. I'm back for another color.

These shoes worked well. They felt a bit big, but not so much I need to exchange them. By the end of a soggy day with lots of walking they started to rub the heel just a little, but much better than getting my feet cut up and burned. They worked great in the water.

GREAT SHOE - This shoe is so comfortable that I have been wearing them almost daily. They are not only a water shoe, but a great trail shoe with lots of breathing. My feet stay cool and comfy. They look great, too... I have had lots of compliments on how cute they are! My feet look small in them and that is saying a lot since I wear a 10.5!
