Small toe box, uncomfortable - Long time North Face shoe gal...this shoe looks fantastic! But it fit a half size shorter and narrow. Also, the toe box is narrow and unless you have a pointy foot you may not like this fit. Too bad... it doesn't come in a 10.5 or a wide.

Smedge - This is a great shoe. They are more lightweight than expected (good) and the blue/grey color is better than pictured.

Excellent scrambler - The rocks of the Billy Goat Trail in Great Falls, MD are no match for this climber/hiker. I got it b/c a hiking boot, even day hikers, are too heavy, but trail runners are too soft. I have had many low day hikers and none seemed to balance support with light weight, traction, and cushion. These pull it off. Im skeptical about how long they'll last b/c past TNF products habitually fail prematurely. Comfort is tricky to achieve with this lacing system, but once you get it, it's secure. A little narrow and too long in the toe (not even a half size worth) but that doesn't impact performance. The green is intense, I love it. Might be ordering the grey/blue next.
