Love these boots! Love these boots! I went snow-shoeing in MN in January with these things and my feet didn't even come close to feeling cold. They are very comfortable and look great!

Good warm boot - Kept my toes quite warm in the coldest of events. My only complaint is how stiff they are, rubbing the front and back of my ankle for a day wasn't great. I am hoping they soften up with time.

Wide forefoot, wide calf - this is for you! I've just worn these for a couple of days, but I had to comment because it was so great to find a nice-looking boot I could wear in really cold weather. I have problem feet and need a wide, tall toe box. Plus my wide calves are always a problem with anything above ankle height. These boots fill the bill. I also ordered the Columbia Bugabootres and Sorel Cold Mountain, but the Columbia was tight, especially around the ankle, and the Sorel Cold Mountain had a shallower toe box that was too constricting. I was pleasantly surprised that I could wear a cute boot of this height. These boots seemed a little low in the heel for me, so I added a little lift and it worked great!

All you really need even in long snowy winters - I just moved to Colorado from Arizona this summer, and this is my first ever pair of real winter boots. Have been walking around town in two feet of snow for the past several weeks. These boots are very comfortable to walk in, fairly light and mobile. I noticed that the first couple of days I wore them to work, my heels got sore if I stood around without walking for very long, but the more they've broken in, the less this has been a problem. My feet have stayed very dry in these boots, and they've had plenty of opportunities to prove their waterproofing. They are nice and wide in the toe box, good wiggle room, but if the temperature drops below 15 or 20 degrees my toes get cold unless I'm wearing my warmest socks. They've done a good job keeping snow out, even when I'm forging through drifts twice as high as the boot. I think I'll continue to feel satisfied with them, and they'll probably be all I need, even in mountain winters at 8,000 feet.
