These shoes are AMAZING! I wear these for kayaking to a trail, and then hiking 4 miles, then jet skiing. They are comfortable for all day wear, dry out very quickly. Rocks, sticks and pebbles don't get in like other water shoes, and they stay on in mud. These are the best water shoes I have ever had! I highly recommend them. The soles are non-slippery too.

Teva Arenal - I was surprised with the comfort and fit of this type of Teva. It's used in replace of the conventional boat shoe style. I thought it would be cooler (temp wise) by the way it's made, to me, it's not.

Why the Straps? I wanted a shoe that would be comfortable, good looking, waterproof or somewhat water resistant, and easy to slip on and off. This shoe really wasn't any of the above. When I first saw the shoe, the first thought that came to my mind was how cheesy the straps looked. When I put the shoe on, the straps interfered and made it more difficult. My wife said to send them back, but I hate to repack and make a trip to UPS and stand in line. So I cut the straps off and now I have a shoe that slips on easy, is better looking and more comfortable to wear. Maybe I should be part of Teva design team? HEY TEVA GET RID OF THE STRAPS!
