Very comfortable shoes. They run a little big. I wear a 7 to run in an I ended up getting a 6.5 in this shoe, even with thick socks. Overall like the shoe

I am moderately dissatisfied with this hiking boot. Boot has no arch support at all and feels particularly stiff through the ankle - it also has a very unusual fit around the ankle as if it is made for someone with very big ankles and no arch. For such a light shoe, it has a very stiff sole and I felt somewhat uncomfortable with the lack of mobility just walking down an easy dirt path. They are cute in the picture and look strange on my feet. Am already looking forward to replacing them. For the price, North Face could have done MUCH better.

Extremely satisfied customer - I looked everywhere for a comfortable pair of hiking shoes. I tried many different brands and ended up returning them because they just weren't comfortable. The North Face Hedgehog is extremely comfortable. Worth every penny! My husband has a pair of North Face hikers also, which he really loves. I am also very please with Zappos. Their website is great with a very large selection of choices. They also upgraded my delivery at no charge to me (a very unexpected surprise). I would definitely check Zappos site again when making a purchase such as this. Thank you Zappos.

Cute shoes, good comfort and vegan! I have been wearing these shoes for a few weeks now, working in the field (daily involves hours of hiking, some climbing, lots of steep uphill hikes, some walking through creeks/mud, and frequently VERY rough rocky terrain). These are a sturdy shoe, and are holding up very well. I just returned another pair of North Face that might have been defective, because the Vibram sole started ripping off. These are NOT doing that. The sole has good grip. They are handling the work very well. The materials are well suited for heavy work it seems (so far). I have crossed some small creeks (not submersed), and didn't feel it soak through. I have wide feet, but there are still comfortable. Only complaint is the shoelaces constantly untying.

Nice lightweight hiking shoe - These were super comfortable right out of the box. Also... waterproof. I actually stood in a running creek and stayed dry. Would like them just a little higher though.

Dream Hiking Boots - We have just come back from hiking in the back country of Denali Ntl Park in Alaska. We were limited to one duffle bag each, and I knew I needed a hiking boot that has a good arch, is waterproof, and could possibly be my ONLY shoe for the two week trip. Three days before leaving, I decided on the Hedgehog, and being spoiled by Zappos overnight shipping, ordered them. They arrived the next day, and with trepidation I put them on. What a great fit, true to size and very comfortable. We hiked in the tundra that was most of the time wet, but my feet stayed dry. I had a lot of compliments on the looks and the color. They were so comfortable, that I ended up wearing them the whole time, even though I brought a pair of sneakers. Thank you Zappos for that kind of service, it's very hard to beat.

Comfortable, dry, lightweight and vegan! Perfect fit. Lightweight and keeps your feet dry. I use it for a work boot at a kennel. Good traction on wet concrete. Very comfortable, too.

Very light hiker - I ordered these shoes after work and when I got home the next day the shoes were there! Fastest service I ever got. The shoes are comfortable and light, plan on using them for hiking.
