--Use-- 2 weeks, 12 trail runs (desert canyons and mountains); 68 miles. The Boa lace system is working great for me. I was skeptical at first, but they hold tight through the entire run. I have not had the dial mechanism come loose once yet. I have not felt any pressure from the cable laces; actually it really distributes the tension well. Another reviewer mentioned the "Y" shaped piece on the toe box was rubbing his toes too much - I have not had that problem but I can see that it would be a problem if the shoe was an exact fit (I like my shoes a little long). If these shoes hold up for a least a few months, I will be buying another pair to replace these.

The New Design Sucks! This is not the Arnuva 50 Ive come to love. The new look is great, dont get me wrong. First things first, the shoe fits like the Endurus XCR BOA and thats a quarter-size to big, high heel, and wide toe box. Great for cold days and thick socks and it sucks for hot summer running. One of the many strong points of the Endurus 50. Second, theyve added a V shape on top of the toe box. After running a few miles this started rubbing against the top of my toes. Check the photos for a quick view of what Im talking about. All past generations used a tab that ran over the big toe. Super comfy for long, pounding runs. A third point before I resign. The out-soles have been cut way back. Look close before you buy this shoe, it isnt the original design. Fore-foot pattern has been changed, the sharp edges all cut back, and the knobs are trimmed down. Seriously, I have a pair of Arnuva 50 BOAs I purchased in February, put in about 500-miles on them, just ran Big Sur Marathon with them, and they have more traction on the sole than the Arnuva 50s I just pulled out of the box and ran 5-miles in. If you love the Arnuva 50, love running, and love long-hard terrain to run on than beware of this new sexy line of Arnuva 50s because they arent the same beast!
Other shoes recommended by reviewer: Endurus XCR for Winter; Original Arnuva 50 for Summer; BOA laces are the best!

Very satisfied customer - The main reason for purchasing this shoe was for casual wear. I really liked the novelty of the boa lacing system and the shoe is very comfortable. I ordered a pair for my wife first and we had to return them twice to find the correct size (at least one size larger than she usually wears), but the customer service was excellent and very painless each time with extremely quick turnaround time. That is the main reason for my order form Zappos. I will continue to shop with Zappos and recommend them to all of our friends. They are a dying breed and much appreciated.
