I Love these shoes! I am currently deployed to Afghanistan and am running everyday as part of my PT program. I have been looking for a trailrunner that holds up to tough conditions and have found it! Honestly I was surprised that North Face made running shoes. I knew they made top-notch outdoor products like backpacks, tents and clothing. I am stoked that they make a quality trailrunner. You can\'t go wrong with North Face products. I will buy another pair for sure!

I bought these shoes for a 10 day hiking trip through Arizona (Monument Valley, Grand Canyon, Sonoma, Flagstaff). I was thrilled with these shoes as I am generally difficult to fit. They are nice and wide in the toe box without slipping in the heels. I hiked in these shoes the day they came and I immediately knew that I had a winner. I have never bought any North Face product that I wasn't very happy to own. I was only sad that they didn't have the red ones in size 13.

I work on my feet 9 to 10 hours a day. These shoes keep my feet comfortable all day. The heel and arch support are superb; the only downer is they are a little too snug around the toes for my preference. And I dig wearing red shoes in DC. I also have the grey/black in the waterproof version which kept my feet dry in last nights deluge. Excellent shoe!

Great Shoe!!! I purchased these for my Caribbean vacation. Felt great walking the hills and streets of Old San Juan. They are light, comfortable, and look great.

Great Sneakers - The Rucky is not my first northface sneakers. I have many, the Rucky certainly comfortable and the snake plate does provide stability. Its a little on the heavy side compared to some other running shoes but not as heavy as its hiking sneaker cousins.

I was looking for a walking shoe for climbing a dusty trail and I did not want a heavy hiking shoe. This shoe is very comfortable and supportive with good traction. Although a small amount of dirt worked through the mesh, it was not enough to cause a problem. Additionally, the shoe's toe box is nice and roomy, while I can lace it up tight enough to keep the heel snug. I would get this shoe again. I would note that I generally wear a 9 in men's shoes, but athletic shoes often run smaller and I needed a 10 in this shoe.

Rucky Chucky review - Shoes seem to run 1/2 size big.

Solid quality - I have several pairs of the North Face shoes and although this is a good shoe, it certainly is not their best. The shoe feels hard in the forefoot and a little "baggy" in fit (maybe if you have a very broad foot they would fit better). On the plus side, the grip is the best of any shoe (unlike the XCR which has the worst) and the rear cushioning is also good. So overall I am a little disappointed as I expected these to be better than they really are.
