This backpack replaced a much loved Gravis bag that was past its prime. Although I am not a skate or snowboarder I like backpacks with the outside straps since they are handy to hold items such as a travel pillow, yoga mat or wet rain jacket. This bag also comes with a bag that can strap onto the outside. Very handy for transporting a wet suit after a trip to the pool or beach. One thing I do not like about this bag is that it is tall and narrow. I liked my Gravis bag a lot better since it was wider than it was tall making for a more compact bag that could still hold a lot of stuff. It is a little bulky for my taste, but has a lot of great outside pockets and more than enough room for a laptop, books and anything else you might travel with.

The Dakine Project Blue backpack is awesome. I ride my bike all over town so the comfort level is perfect. Tons of useful compartments. It's pretty lightweight. Plus it looks great. Other than that, shipping was fast and everything was hassle free!

Great bag with a great price! I love this backpack. I have been using a hand me down bag for my surf gear when I hike down to the beach. Not all of my gear fit. Now all of my gear has a place. There is the bonus wetsuit bag that worked really well. It attaches nicely on the front strap. My Nalgene bottle fit great in the side pocket and the eyeglass pocket is great, too. The extra nice thing is the donation to the foundation. Too cool.

Great Bag - Totally love this bag; it is made very well, much better than the Oakley one I purchased that I had to keep sewing back together (what a POS). I highly recommend this product!

Nice backpack and best service of all time - I can't believe I can actually get the backpack in only two days without paying any shipping fee, thumbs up for the great service. And the item is just simply great, stylish-looking not to mention it has just enough places for nearly everything you need for school. Again, two thumbs up. Zappos surely will be another wave for on-line shopping.

DAKINE PROJECT BLUE INTERVAL - As a backpack, it's very functional, has a laptop sleeve that can carry even a 17" laptop. Has just enough protection, especially if the bag drops to the ground with the laptop in it. Has very useful pockets and is reasonably priced. If you want more protection for your laptop, look at a Brenthaven, instead. For every bag that is sold, a portion is donated to Project Blue. It overall is a good thing to let people know that you are trying to help save the planet one step at a time. Comfort and looks are wonderful. I highly recommend this bag if you want to help the save the planet. It would be nice if the bag was made out of recycled plastics or recycled material.
