I love my Chaco sandals and wear them all summer long, so I was happy to see that Chaco started to make regular shoes. I did have a hard time finding a pair to fit my wide foot (I wear a wide in the sandal), but the Redrock does fit my wide foot, have the arch support that I need to be comfortable all day long, and the cute look to go with jeans.

Fantastic shoe! Like the Chaco sandals, this shoe has the best arch support I've found (although I took a size larger in the shoe). I was able to wear this shoe immediately for long periods of time with no break-in period. Due to the mesh sides, they feel cooler than my athletic shoes. I have received many compliments on the style. Also, as usual with Zappos, I received them within 48 hours. Thanks, Zappos!

I love Chaco! I need really good arch support & I've started to buy Chaco shoes for every purpose. I've got flip-flops, 2 pairs of leather sandals, and now sneakers. They're great & I hope this company is around for a LONG time.

An Awesome shoe - I have worn the Chaco sandals and loved them and decided to try these shoes. They are so comfortable, may feet still feel good at the end of the day after walking up and downstairs all day long in a Middle School. When standing, I can feel the firm support along the arch which makes me feel like rocking, it’s a constant massage! Really great shoes.

Good shoe - I have a wide foot and this fits pretty well. The toe box is a bit pointed for a wide foot. But they have the great arch support that I expect. The Zappos service was excellent, as expected.

Great arch support!!! I have extremely flat feet and choose not to wear orthotics, so these shoes help give me the support I need! Not super cushiony but the arch support makes up for it.

Great Support & Great Price - I like these shoes a lot. I have knee/hip problems and they have really great support. I like that I got them at such a great price here. I searched them out at many other places and this is this best deal I found.

Chaco fan - I love these shoes! I was a little skeptical about ordering shoes like this without trying them on somewhere first, but no problems. I typically wear between a 9.5 and 10. Went ahead and got the 10 and they're big enough that I can definitely wear the bulky socks and be ok. They are like the Chaco sandals with excellent arch support.

Outstanding - Superior product, amazingly fast upgraded shipping, total security with free returns. Would definitely order again from Zappos. Chacos are the only shoe/sandal that my ballet dancing daughter can wear and still protect her feet.

Comfortable walking shoe - I purchased these shoes to walk around on a trip to Rome. They were very comfortable while walking. My feet never felt sore or had a hot spot at all (I always wear socks with them.) I also like that they don't look like a typical pair of athletic shoes. I did notice that they would feel a little tight while sitting for long periods (i.e. on a plane) but that may be due to feet swelling while sitting for long periods of time. Otherwise, these shoes would have received 5 stars.

Too Hard - I heard about these from my podiatrist, and was really looking forward to having some good walking shoes. I have high arches, plantar fasciitis, and a bunion on my left foot, and they seem to be a little narrower than average, and very hard. Probably really good support, but they didn't work for my feet.

Nice shoes if they fit your foot type - When I first put my foot into these, they felt great. The same excellent arch support that Chaco's are known for. Unfortunately for me, I have narrow heels, but fairly wide feet otherwise. These shoes slipped in the heel. I tried several sock combinations to try to make them work, but my heel still slipped. I am guessing that this would not be an issue for more people--I just have narrow heels. Other than that, these shoes seemed like they would be very comfortable. If you're considering them, I'd say give them a try.

The perfect shoe!!! I wanted these shoes in Vino for so long, but they weren't available in my size. So I waited and waited...and waited. I got them a few weeks ago and have worn them almost every day since! Well worth the wait, they are cute and comfortable enough to wear everyday and I didn't need to break them in at all! Great arch support and foot stability - These shoes are great for my plantar fasciitis. My only complaint is that they are a bit narrow, and my feet start to feel cramped after a few hours. The insole has a nice stiff bottom, so I don't even need to use the orthotic inserts that I use with Keens and other shoes. If they were wider and more attractive, I would wear them all the time. As it is I do wear them whenever I need to do heavy-duty walking, and am quite satisfied.

Chaco Redrock (Women)- Based on my experience with Chaco sandals and their fantastic arch support I decided to give these a try. I like them a LOT. I give them 5 stars overall because I am thrilled that there is a shoe with an aggressive arch right out of the box- no need for orthotics! The reason I don't give them a 5 for comfort is that I need more cushioning (same is true for their sandals). The good arch trumps the need for cushioning, but they need more padding to suit me for long days of walking. There is not enough room to add a gel insole, unfortunately. So I hope the cushioning is improved in subsequent models. They look pretty good- not clunky, anyway. Sizing seems true-I am usually a 7.5 in shoes and that is what I wear in these. Don't count on going by your Chaco sandal size (I wear a 6 in those!).

Comfy shoes - I originally ordered Chaco Suntrail as I really liked the color better, but those were way too tight on my wide feet. I gave these a try and found them to accommodate wide feet much better. I normally wear a size 9 to 9.5 and found the size 9 to be a good fit with enough toe room. I love and need the arch support Chaco shoes have.

Finally! A Shoe! Finally Chaco made a shoe! I've been so sad to pack my sandals away every fall. Just like their sandals, you can put these on and wear them the first time ALL DAY. I'm pretty excited and optimistic that this is just the beginning of more styles of Chaco to come!

COMFORT!! I bought these shoes for days I'd do a lot of walking. They are sooo comfortable. I wore them to the zoo and was on my feet for over 6 hours walking. I did not have my usual back pain at the end of the day. They are cute too!

Great looking shoe. I wear a size 12 and usually have to order men's sneakers/shoes of this type and was so happy to see Chaco making a women's size 12 because the colors are so much nicer in the women's styles. Although the shoes initially felt ok, after a few minutes walking around the house I realized they were a bit small. I'll have to return them.

Love this shoe but needs help with arch - I wear Chaco hip thongs and they are very good for my plantar fasciitis. These shoes do not seem to have the same arch support and my foot hurts after a day of walking. I may put my own orthotics in and see if that helps. In hip thongs I wear a size 8 in the Redrock I wear an 8.5

Great Shoe - I was hoping Chaco would make a shoe I have 4 pairs of there sandals and the contour foot bed is wonderful. The shoes have proven to be just as comfortable; I put them on right out of the box and haven't stopped wearing them yet. I felt they were true to size they look great not too big and clunky as some shoes of this type can be.

Brilliant - I love Chaco’s sandals, and have been hoping for them to make an enclosed, sturdy shoe. This shoe is brilliant! It’s not only incredibly comfortable right out of the box, but incredibly supportive, especially in the arch and heel. Plenty of room in the toe box as well. Waited a few days and bought a second pair, different color. After wearing them non-stop for a week, they are definitely my favorite shoes. My feet, hips, knees, and back have never felt more aligned and pain-free. There is also a strange (good!) effect these have that make your steps more efficient so you don't lose any energy into the ground. Highly recommend to anyone that craves excellent support.

Love this shoe but needs help with arch - I wear Chaco hip thongs and they are very good for my plantar fasciitis. These shoes do not seem to have the same arch support and my foot hurts after a day of walking. I may put my own orthotics in and see if that helps. In hip thongs I wear a size 8 in the Redrock I wear an 8.5

Great Shoe - I was hoping Chaco would make a shoe I have 4 pairs of there sandals and the contour foot bed is wonderful. The shoes have proven to be just as comfortable; I put them on right out of the box and haven't stopped wearing them yet. I felt they were true to size they look great not too big and clunky as some shoes of this type can be.

Brilliant - I love Chaco’s sandals, and have been hoping for them to make an enclosed, sturdy shoe. This shoe is brilliant! It’s not only incredibly comfortable right out of the box, but incredibly supportive, especially in the arch and heel. Plenty of room in the toe box as well. Waited a few days and bought a second pair, different color. After wearing them non-stop for a week, they are definitely my favorite shoes. My feet, hips, knees, and back have never felt more aligned and pain-free. There is also a strange (good!) effect these have that make your steps more efficient so you don't lose any energy into the ground. Highly recommend to anyone that craves excellent support.
