I bought these for my 3 year old daughter to wear to daycare, where they have to have shoes with closed toes and heels. These are perfect. The daycare director has even complimented them! They're also really easy for the munchkin to get on and off. On top of that, when they get dirty or stinky, I can pop them in the washer, and they come out clean and shiny all over again. Keens Kids, like grown-up Keens, seem to run a little small. For my DD, I ended up with a 9, even though she normally wears an 8. She has a little growing room, but not too much.

These shoes are AWESOME. I got the powder blue color for my son. He has low-muscle tone and with these shoes, he seems to walk straight, not tire out as easily, and he\'s extremely comfortable. He can\'t kick these off, which is nice because they are not cheap. They are easy to put on, which is another feature I LOVE. He wears them everyday, everywhere and prefers them to his crocs...they are super cute, too.

Just adorable! Keen! While I prior considered them fugly, I have grown to love these shoes for kids! They do it all on the Chicago lakefront, where we live! Sand, rocks, concrete jungle, puddle-stomping, grass, parks... no matter where we roam, my daughter's toes are safe, supported and free to jump into and onto anything she pleases. And with a 3 year-old, well, you fellow parents know how important that is, in the "I can do it myself" phase! The particulars: Unlike the Newport H2's, these run more true-to-size, if not actually a bit large. I initially sized up given reviews, and they are huge on her. So we are saving the size 10 Angel Falls (sky-blue and yellow) for next year (since we now know how hard finding our size and color-of-choice can be, even on Zappos!), and reordered the Moonlight Mauve in an 8, only because they were sold out of 9's in every possible color. Well, they are perfect, and she is a true 9. So I would say these run slightly large given the no-socks factor. Easy to put on! Very easy for me, and very doable for a 3 year-old, thanks to the new velcro! Worth every penny! My baby girl has very happy toes, and the color is darling. Not icky-sicky pink, but girlie enough to make them adorable with dresses and skirts, as well as shorts and wiggle pants. I will be sad to see the pink ones outgrown! I ordered the Whispers for myself once I saw the kids 'water' versions, and I am in love. Wearing them out of the box is no issue, they are like walking on air. Super cute in Beet Red! Never thought I would be caught dead in Keen's and yet we are now a Keen family for life! Zappos returns, by the way, are as breezy as they come, 24 hours phone-call-to-door, new pair in my hands and I hand over the rejected Newport Canvas in Amaranth (not comfy! sorry!), and they did not even charge my card for the new pair in the interim. That in itself is a wow! Add my new VIP membership to the mix, and I am a Zappos girl for life, too! I have been a customer for a few years now, and this was my first return, and I am inspired that a company like this truly exists! Thanks to Keen and Zappos for a happy summer!

My 4 year old son loves these shoes. They are true to size and are very comfortable. I bought a similar style from Teva for my daughter, but she was miserable in them and they gave her blisters. The Keen's are perfect and I love the light blue; they are adorable, even for a boy.

This is the perfect summer shoe! It does both sand and surf and provides enough support for running around on the playground. I have them for both my 4 and 2 year old and will be sure to get them every year!

I LOVE these shoes for my 4 year old daughter. It is our third pair of Keens for her. She can run and play, jump and climb...endless fun. These shoes are also really easy to clean. I never have to worry about what she is doing- these shoes are tough yet very comfortable.

We love the Keen Kids. This is my two-year-old's second pair due to her foot growing. She calls them her "all-terrain shoes" and wore them almost every day last summer. They still look like new after a washing. Gives kids a sturdy footbed and toe protection while allowing ventilation and water play.

Wonderful rough and tumble shoe for your little girl! I purchased these for a six week Europe trip with our 3 1/2 year old daughter. I have not been disappointed. They are sturdy, protective of little toes, breathable, darling, a great color, and work with jeans, dresses, and skirts. Best of all they are washable! Can't recommend enough. And she can put them on and take them off all by herself.

Best summer shoe! Love these; have bought them for the past few years for my kids. They are built to last, for climbing, scootering, exploring, and getting wet. Best of all they dry quickly and look good. I love how they protect those tiny toes. You really don't need much else in summer.

Keen Kids Newport H2 (Toddler/Youth) Great Shoe!!! We bought these for our 2-Year old Grand Daughter, they look great and provide good support and protection for her feet while playing outdoors. She wears a 7 in most other shoes but after reading the other reviews we went with the 8, fits perfectly.

Love those Keens - I purchased the H2's in light blue. My daughter LOVES the color blue & I was happy to be able to find her a girl's shoe in something other than pink. Our family loves Keens, the support & comfort is nearly unmatched. Protecting their toes while giving them a great run-around summer shoe is great. We also love Keen's environmentally conscious packaging.

Really Great Girls' Keens - These are fantastic! My daughter loves them and this design is really easy to get on and off, unlike Keen H2s (my only gripe with Keen). They are really cute and hold up wonderfully. These were the only shoes that we packed for a 10 day trip to Montana and they did it all--airport, hiking, playground, dinner. I washed them 3 times in 10 days and they still look like they just came out of the box. Very pleasing!! They'll be in heavy rotation come school time.

Love Keen Kids - These are great shoes for my 2 year old – a replacement to the pair she wore last summer and outgrew but definitely didn't wear down. They are comfortable, sturdy, dry quickly, and I love that they are sandals, but still keep her toes covered. She can't get them on herself, which is an issue at times (being stubbornly independent!) and she usually goes for the Crocs first since she can get those on herself. But I feel better with her wearing these as they give much more support. I buy Keen sandals for all 3 of my kids and have never had to replace them due to wearing out – only because they were outgrown!

Pretty in Pink - We bought this shoe for our 3 year old daughter and it's a great shoe. I like the fact that the toes are protected. She can run in them and not worry about tripping like in a pair of flip flops. My kid’s feet sweat a lot and they can be nice and cool. This is an awesome shoe for her to put on and take off by herself. All around good quality and style.

Greatest shoe ever! These shoes are the best pair of shoes I have ever purchased for my daughter. She's 4 and very picky -- but she loves the look and says they feel good on her feet. She can get them on and off with no problem by herself. From a mom's perspective, they clean up really well and offer great protection for her foot wherever we're at. They're great for the beach! I LOVE LOVE Zappos! Free upgrade on shipping and the shoes arrived the next day!

Perfect "everyday" shoes for summer! We got these in the pink and they are absolutely adorable! They look cute with shorts, capris, and even some summer dresses. Very well constructed and durable. I would highly recommend these shoes.

Love Keen Kids - These are great shoes for my 2 year old – a replacement to the pair she wore last summer and outgrew but definitely didn't wear down. They are comfortable, sturdy, dry quickly, and I love that they are sandals, but still keep her toes covered. She can't get them on herself, which is an issue at times (being stubbornly independent!) and she usually goes for the Crocs first since she can get those on herself. But I feel better with her wearing these as they give much more support. I buy Keen sandals for all 3 of my kids and have never had to replace them due to wearing out – only because they were outgrown!

Pretty in Pink - We bought this shoe for our 3 year old daughter and it's a great shoe. I like the fact that the toes are protected. She can run in them and not worry about tripping like in a pair of flip flops. My kid’s feet sweat a lot and they can be nice and cool. This is an awesome shoe for her to put on and take off by herself. All around good quality and style.

Greatest shoe ever! These shoes are the best pair of shoes I have ever purchased for my daughter. She's 4 and very picky -- but she loves the look and says they feel good on her feet. She can get them on and off with no problem by herself. From a mom's perspective, they clean up really well and offer great protection for her foot wherever we're at. They're great for the beach! I LOVE LOVE Zappos! Free upgrade on shipping and the shoes arrived the next day!

Perfect "everyday" shoes for summer! We got these in the pink and they are absolutely adorable! They look cute with shorts, capris, and even some summer dresses. Very well constructed and durable. I would highly recommend these shoes.
