eS Square One - The shoes look good...but...that's about it. The tongue-centering straps inside rubbed against my feet, and I almost considered cutting them out. I didn't even skate in these much, and they wore down quick. I stopped wearing them for awhile and then decided to wear them again. The only way I got past the strap discomfort was to wear two pairs of socks. Overall, the look is great, but the shoe needs more padding. A big disappointment from eS.

Square Ones... This shoe is good. Great even at first, but once you really start skating them, they wear down too quick! The outsole feels like very soft rubber afterwards. Never getting another pair in my life. OH and you also have to get this shoe a half size smaller than what you are. I dont know why.

I bought the Square One eager to try out a pair of eS for the first time. All the padding was very comfortable and the fabric was easy to clean. However I was disappointed that the shoes didn't come with STI foam footbeds, which they could have really used considering the insoles were thinner than they should have been. I also found that the soles were very thin and provided little arch support. Other than that I thought the shoes were very comfortable and looked really cool and completely original.

Best skate shoes ever! These shoes are so great... I love the way it feels! I usually dont buy es skate shoes, but these Square Ones have to be the best skate shoes Ive ever used. Now I am a hardcore skater and the only problem is that the heel wears down real fast and the toe rips quickly, but still I think they are amazing and I recommend these to any skater out there that is thinking of buying these shoes!

Wow at first... But close to a disappointment...after only about a month they started ripping on the toe. It was very thin and ripped...all I was doing was Ollies. It looks great and feels awesome (not so much in the toe area) but not too durable...seem a bit bigger than marked. :/ Thx Zappos for fast delivery though.

eS Square One - These shoes were great. Kick flips will destroy them, but your general ollie area is well protected so durability isn't much of an issue. The waffle tread design on the grips are perfect and the design of the grips make them still feel grippy, even after flat marking. My only complaint is they run long and by that I mean longer than most vulcs (vulcs usually have a little more extra toe space than regular shoes), but I bought my normal size and nothing happened. Overall this is an amazing shoe and I would recommend it to anyone who likes vulcanized shoes. If you prefer thicker soles, go with the eS Accels instead and if you like something in the middle, get the eS Accel TTs.

Best skate shoe, but rips the fastest - This is a sick shoe to skate in, but the shoe rips into shreds and separates from the sole in about 2 weeks of skating. This shoe rips in about the time it would take a normal Vans shoe to rip in a year.

eS Square One - Ignore all the reviews about them ripping right away, just put some hot glue or shoo goo around the vulc part and start skating. I did that and these have been great, so far all that has ripped was a little hole by the toe cap and the back of the sole has come off the heel but shoo goo will fix that instantly. Honestly these shoes are great, I had these then bought Emericas and skated them for a month and went back to my old Square Ones because they were so much better, trust me these will last you and they are worth the money!

Sick - A great shoe. Nothing I don't like about it. The insole tends to get holes around the big toe and heel, but so do all the other shoes with the STI Foam footbed. The sole is a little thin though, I can see the G2 gel coming out of the heel of my right shoe, but thats only because I live in a place with a lot of hills, you gotta stop somehow. But I have learned so many new tricks since I've had these shoes, definitely a good buy.
