Best Gear Purchase of My Yosemite Trip - I just got back from a 4 day, 3 night guided backpacking trip to Yosemite. My guide sent out a list of gear we needed for the trip and she listed "light camp shoes". I searched the internet and looked at dozens of 'camp shoes' from Teva’s to water shoes, to trail runners, and I chose the Light Amphibians. These shoes worked perfectly on the trip. I used them around camp and whenever I was hiking without my 35 pound pack. They really are light yet they provide great support and traction. I hiked up to Medlicott Dome and Tenaya Peak wearing just my Light Amphibians and I didn't miss a step. I wasn't expecting them to be that high performance but they are. I highly recommend these shoes and I won't go on a backpacking trip without them.

Great Shoe - I bought this shoe for kayaking. Had it for 1 month. I was first going to buy the Techamphibian, but bought the Light Amphibian because it is lighter, and after getting wet it will hold less water and dry quicker. The outsoles provide great traction in slippery surface, and great for traction to the bike pedal for bike riding. The hurricane looking logos on the front and back are reflective, which is good for visibility at night. The shoe is extremely light, and very comfortable. Adjustable heel strap provides a great custom tight fit.
