Very comfortable and worthy of a hike - Shoes were brand-new for a trip with some newbie hiking planned in the Smokies; they worked great, although the shock absorption wasn't quite enough to keep my toes from feeling a little sore at the end of the day after walking on rock surfaces ...but maybe that's just me the newbie hiker! Thanks Zappos again for fabulous service.

Great light hiking shoe - I use this shoe for hiking. It is extremely comfortable but for a normal width it seems a bit wide. Still there was no break in period, just put it on and started out. Not as cute as I would like but you can't have everything. Great all around shoe.

Great shoe for comfort - I really love Merrells and am addicted to the slide versions. I thought this would have the same great arch support, but it is less supportive. I do use these shoes for walking, but actually the New Balance shoes I have are better for longer distances. Also, I bought this a half size larger because I wear heavier socks for walking and the size I would normally wear was too small. They have good venting which is great for hot weather.

Love these shoes!!! I have not been able to find a pair of tennis shoes that fit my feet so that I can actually wear them for a long period of time until I bought my Merrell Siren Sport shoes. They look good on and feel comfortable as a walking shoe. I've had tons of compliments. What an easy way to buy shoes! Zappos is better than the best. The people are friendly, the service is outstanding, and the quality of the product is superb!

Wonderful shoe! I decided to purchase these shoes for a Disney vacation, three days before leaving. My order arrived overnight. I wore these shoes through the airport as well as at Disney. Needed no break in time and were very comfortable. No blisters, no tired feet! My 7 year old daughter has the exact same shoes and she did very well on the vacation as well in regards to foot comfort. Everyone should have a pair!

They shrink!! I ordered them b/c they felt very comfortable and balanced...they made my feet WANT to run, they were so light! Plus, they made my huge feet look petite! But, I had the misfortune of encountering snow in Glacier Nat'l Park while hiking this summer...we bullied through for at least an hour. Feeties drenched. Although they had gotten wet before...this time when they dried, they were way too small for my size 9s. Couldn't cram them on. I gave them to a friend who wears an 8.5 and she said they were a little tight. So, I ordered another pair, a half-size up, because with the "performance fit" you can get away with it, and if they shrink again, not as big a deal! The 9s had always felt a smidgen too small anyway...my toe touched the end. PS - I don't jog, so these are "day hikers" for me and they held up great!

Not entirely as expected - My 3rd pair of Merrell sneakers and this one has a spot that crimps my little toe on my left foot. Annoying but I am living with it. Also, these are roomier that my last pair of the same size. Oh, and I had to return a pair (same type) that was defective.

No complaints - I've bought these shoes for a 3-day hiking trip in Sierra Nevada and did not have enough time to 'break' them beforehand. As we did a lot of hiking, I’ve got a little callous after the first day, but it was not bad. Because of the ribbed sole, it was a bit unusual to wear them in the city and I tripped a few times. The shoes provided a good traction when climbing almost perfectly smooth rock service and gave me a good feeling of safety. I would prefer though that the first front inch of the shoe were more protected because there is nothing much besides the mesh on the shoe service.

Right little toe hits an inside seam. Forces me to wear a bandage on that toe to cushion against seam. Otherwise a great shoe. Disappointed that the seam is rubbing.

Wear orthotics? This sport shoe is for you! I have tried many brands of sport shoes and these seem to have more depth to fix my orthotic into. They are very comfortable without being bulky. Love Love Love!!! I bought a pair of the grey/periwinkle Merrell’s last year, and loved them so much I also got a pair of the dark brown/green gore-tex, and just recently, the chocolate/red. I wear them a lot, and there is still plenty of tread and life left in them. Definitely recommend!

Comfortable and cute! This shoe is great. First, I'd like to thank Merrell for being one of the few shoemakers who makes their 11s true to size. Athletic shoe manufacturers routinely size their shoes small, forcing me to move up to a 12, which is too big. These shoes fit well, and I don't feel like a duck wearing them. So, I am increasingly becoming a Merrill shoe person!

Very comfortable shoe - I had my eye on these shoes for a while as I had heard good things about Merrell for comfort and quality, and this model looked stylish too. I finally bought them and haven't been disappointed. I usually wear an 8, and ordered an 8 and they fit perfectly. I have a high arch so a support is beneficial but maybe not necessary if you have regular arches. I wear these shoes most of the time unless I'm wearing my gardening shoes or I'm barefoot. I'm a barefoot kind of girl and my husband almost fell off the couch when I told him these were almost as comfortable to me as being barefoot! And, as usual, Zappos provided great customer service, which seems hard to find these days and keeps me coming back.

The BEST shoes ever! Zappos shipped these shoes to me the following day! I also have the elephant/pink, but wanted a new pair to walk a 10 hour day at Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. Love these shoes! This shoe is so lightweight and comfortable. I have tendonitis in my Achilles and found these were the most comfortable sneakers. I would recommend these and will probably get another pair in a different color.

Light weight and very comfortable - This sneaker is very comfortable. I like the cushioning and it feels well-designed to fit a woman's foot. I also like the light weight. Light weight and very comfortable - This sneaker is very comfortable. I like the cushioning and it feels well-designed to fit a woman's foot. I also like the light weight. It doesn't feel or look clunky like some athletic shoes. I am very pleased with this product and will probably purchase other shoes from Merrell.

Very comfortable - a great shoe. It took me a long time to find the right fit and I just love them. Merrell hasn't let me down yet.
