I've worn Sperry canvas boat shoes for decades but always with laces. These feel great, are well made and will fit like similar Sperry canvas shoes. As I expected, for me these have a good width for wearing with socks but would feel a bit loose without. However, I have flat arches so I always expect that with ANY slip-on shoes or loafers. The elastic gores feel perfect and these seem a bit more nicely finished inside than many inferior knock-offs. Very modest arch supports on flat insoles, so don't expect the feel of a modern athletic shoe. Structured heel counter and padded ankle band help give a good firm and comfortable fit. I actually had these on for several hours right out of the box and had forgotten I was wearing new shoes. Gotta love that!

Not comfortable with bare feet. I bought these as a beach and/or house shoe. Without socks, they chaff my feet and are not very comfortable; however, with socks they are very comfortable.

From the moment they came out of the box these sneakers were comfortable. True to size, fantastic feel, and I think they look great.

Disappointed - Being a boat shoe, I do not wear socks with these. I was disappointed that there is a thick double stitched seam on the inside of the heel in the center causing blisters. I ended up cutting the seams out in order to wear the shoes comfortably.

Cool kicks - These are some hot shoes; there aren’t many that look like them. Definitely making a statement when you wear these bad boys. Pretty comfortable, would not recommend walking too far in them but they aren’t bad.

Summer favorites - I love these shoes. Comfortable, great looking and only get better with age. Get them wet and they dry quickly. Great change from the over-worn sandals and leather boat shoes.

Slip - True to size. Not a lot of arch support but I didn't expect any so this was not a disappointment. Clean, good looking sneaker.
