My old Merrells in this style look and fit better. The arch support in this model is poor. One of the velcro tab ends on the heel was not sewn and I will have to repair it. I need the shoes so sending back is not an option. This experience has made me question the quality of Merrells and I will probably buy another brand from now on.

Merrell's Chameleon Arc Web - I have long narrow feet, but you can adjust the straps both ways to fit just perfect. I walk in them 2 miles a day and they are so comfortable, I love them!

Chameleon Arc Web - First off, I'd say do NOT get this shoe if you are an over-pronator. It tilts your feet inward, which is great for me since I am an under-pronator. If you overpronate, try the shoe called Onset by Earth shoes. Zappos has it, and it is very similar in looks and price to this one. This shoe has great arch support and is fine for walking/exercising on flat surfaces. However, once I got it off the trail on to rocky terrain, it did not have much lateral support for my feet. It is VERY comfortable for being on my feet all day at work. I love it because it protects my feet and is still open enough to keep them cool when the temps are high. Be sure to adjust the bungi gizmo on the top to get it to the right tightness.
