Okay, I have the flattest feet in the world, and usually can't get a shoe or sandal to fit correctly. Read the other reviews that were "mixed" as to the sizing of the Commuter. Well, ordered the 10.5 size, expecting the worst, but they fit fine and are the most comfortable biking shoe I own. Only wish we weren't going into winter, and I could wear all the time.

Commuter - Although some other reviews state that this shoe is narrow, neither my husband or I found this true and we have relatively wide feet. I had ordered a size up for my husband and it was too big. This shoe is a great casual cycle shoe! Firm enough on bottom for extra support (especially for hills!), but flexible enough to walk casually in once you hit your destination. Without socks, feet stay cool; for warmth, add socks.

I am a Keen\'s fan. I wear them almost all of the time. So when I found out that Keens made bike shoes, I had to try them. Beware, they are much more narrow than typical Keens sandals. I guess because of the bike pedals. Also, like other Keens always buy 1/2 size larger than you typically wear. They run short. You can walk in them but they are not made for that. I am pleased with the bike sandals and I\'m glad I choose them. They make bike riding more enjoyable.

After a couple dozen Mt. bike rides, I\'ll have to say I love these shoes. I\'ve had other sandals and my biggest complaint was that the soles weren\'t stiff. The Keen Commuter has a very stiff sole, so when you stand up and mash down on your single speed it doesn\'t warp under foot. Yet they are still easy to walk into a the grocery with. More than one coment I read before I ordered these shoes said they run small. This is not true in my case. I ordered a 43 and now I wish I had ordered a 42. When wet after a stream crossing or two, they tend to stretch and feel loose. The toe protection is a bonus.\r\nBottom line, I love them.

My husband bought my Keen biking sandals for Christmas, and I started wearing them as soon as we started biking in March. If it were cold, I put socks on because I couldnt go back to my biking shoes! They are comfortable, cooler, and simpler to get on & off. They have 1256 miles on them now, and everyone asks about them. I got my husband these sandals for his birthday, and he never wears his biking shoes anymore either because the sandals are wonderful.

I already have two other pairs of Keens and both fit well. My experience with them is that they are generally a great sport sandal to wear. So as an avid cyclist, I was ecstatic to pick up a pair of Keen Commuters. I wear a size 13 and ordered such. However, when I received them, I noticed that while Keen has labeled the shoe Size 13 US, they also label it 47 Euro. Unfortunately, I wear a size 48 Euro in all my cycling shoes so I found these shoes to be a little too snug to wear, even without socks! This was unexpected because again, my two other size 13 Keens fit great. I'm still keeping the Commuters, however. I just hope I don't end up selling them at a huge loss after only a few rides.
Other shoes recommended by reviewer: Shimano and a few others also make a cycling sandal, but they are open toe designed.Shimano and a few others also make a cycling sandal, but they are open toe designed.

I had a difficult time getting right size. These run narrow. I eventually settled on 1/2 size larger. These feel different from my 9 other pairs of Keens of varying age. Seems to be ok as I ride at the beach a lot. Functional so far. No sure about the durability yet.

Narrow! I am a big girl who wears men's Keen brand regularly. Woo these are terrific in all ways but way too narrow even for a bike shoe. I'm aware that bike shoes are narrow for ergonomic reasons, but in this one I'm popping out all over and stretching way more than I expected.

Keen Commuter does what it says - I have been using the shoe/sandal now for a couple of weeks when I commute to work or just get groceries and run errands. It is much more comfortable than wearing a stiff carbon mountain/road biking shoe. As others have mentioned it is a little narrower than the Newport model, however, I have found that after a little bit it stretches out comfortably. I use eggbeater pedals and I have had no problem adding the cleats to the bottom of the sandal or clipping onto the pedals. Overall I love this sandal. Only caveat is I would like it to be a little wider.

Keen Commuter - I love Keens, and had to have there cycling shoe. When it arrived I had to double check the box because I thought they had sent me womens. I know my cycling shoes are narrow, but you really dont expect it from Keen. The reason I buy all Keen is due to my wide feet. I also hope next generation will be wider!

Cycling sandals - Keens rock, I have worn cycling sandals and Keen sandals for years, nice to see them come together. Note: Cycling shoe have always been more narrow then there counter parts. These are no different, in fact they are very very narrow, I hope to see Keens use the same width soles in the next generation of this product. I suggest ordering at least a half size up when you order.
