The Saucony Progrid Guide is comfortable out of the box. I use it as an everyday shoe, though I wouldn't hesitate to use it on one of my daily distance runs. As a mild over-pronator, I find the fit and ride to be great.

Decent pronation control (which I need). Good overall. Not the best on wet rocks. Laces need to be double knotted.

My very picky son loves these running shoes. He uses them for cross country at school. Only had for a few months, but seem to be holding up well.

Shoe Arch: Moderate arch support
Sharp looking, supportive, light - Much better looking than most running shoes. Lightweight for a trail shoe. Comfortable, snug upper. Snug heel portion near Achilles tendon, doesn't slip. These shoes are very stable. Footbed isn't soft, it's stiff and supportive most noticeable under ball of foot (medial side), at heel, and arch support. Excellent pronation control. Might not be good for higher arches. Stays cool.

Great for low arches. I bought these in a size 7 for my 10 year old son who has terribly low arches. He also tends to roll his ankles to the inside. He loved these shoes from the first minute he wore them. They are handling all the abuse a 10 y.o. can dish out.

Great shoe - Best trail shoe I have ever worn. Good on or off road, plenty of cushion and flexibility. I used this shoe in a rainy 15 K trail race. The course was a very muddy and included two creek crossings. The shoes performed brilliantly, great traction, and shoes drained quickly. I was amazed how good the traction was in the mud, up hills or down. The tread never caked up with mud, good self clearing tread.

Cool design trail shoes - Very neat color design. Shoes work well on both trails and road. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a good trail or road/trail shoe. I have not had them in any wet situations yet so I cannot comment on how they handle water.

Multi-Purpose Trail Runner - Excellent quality in both design and construction; appearance is favorably unique and aggressive. I use these regularly for 6.2 mile road runs, military PT sessions, and circuit cross-fit sessions. This shoe handles all with ease and looks great. Note: Shoe does feel wider than marked in the footbed. I inserted aftermarket soles and that shored up the difference quite well.
