Buying my third pair! I adore them. They are perfect. They breathe and I can feel the breeze on my feet in warm weather. They do not smell. They are absolutely perfect for my feet comfortable and great for getting caught in the rain because they recover so well. They also look really good on your feet. A+!

The North Face Philter - I was very impressed with the look of this shoe when I received it. It looks really good with shorts and capris. Anyway, I got it because I was going on vacation, and wanted to use it at the beach since it is a water shoe. Well, I was a little disappointed when it didn't keep the sand out. When I walked out in the surf, I felt the sand grains make their way in, so it's not a good shoe for that. I think the best water shoe for the beach is one with huge gaps/openings, so the sand and water can easily escape. This shoe trapped the sand inside. It's probably best suitable for rock and river terrain. But, I think it's so cute that I'm wearing it casually. It could be a little more comfortable, but it's not bad. There's not much arch support, so if you have high arches, it may be uncomfortable.

Very cute! These were SO cute and I really, really wanted to love them, but I guess something is wrong with my right foot because the arch support was in the wrong place and my foot was KILLING me almost instantly. I even tried another size, still no luck. They look great, breathe very well, and they are very lightweight. I really wish they worked for me!

Shoe Arch: Excellent arch support
This is a very comfortable and well designed shoe - with one exception. The bottom of my arch rests on the insole of the shoe. That area of the insole has large drainage holes (to get water out of the shoe) that press into my foot. It's uncomfortable and leaves a honeycomb pattern on the bottom of my arch (if I don't wear socks). However, aside from that little problem this would be the perfect water shoe. It's very cushy inside, lots of spring in the heel support. It dries quickly and drains water from the shoe efficiently. The fine mesh all over the shoe (including metal mesh in the sole) keeps out small rocks and sand. The sole doesn't have any lugs so it can be slippery in certain circumstances.

Shoe Arch: Excellent arch support
Wow! Finally the perfect water shoe. I bought this shoe for hiking in rivers, and for canoe portages. It has an amazing drainage system in the sole of the shoe, with a wire mesh to keep debris from getting into the shoe. The insole is very supportive and well padded, and it also has built in drainage to get the water out of your shoe quickly. The shoe is quite comfortable without socks, nothing stiff to rub anywhere. It laces up easily on my narrow foot (but I think it would fit a normal or wider foot too). The shoe is quite lightweight. The "sagegrass green/gravel brown" is a lovely natural color for camping trips. My only complaint is that the tongue and collar are padded and therefore take a little longer to dry than neoprene would. However this one's a keeper!

Squeaky - I love the look and feel of these shoes. But...No matter what kind of socks I wear, squeaky noises are made with every step! It is very annoying!

Highly functional and cool looking shoe! I wanted a shoe that could take me from the street to the beach for my walk/run and this one certainly delivers. Sand and water literally filter out of the shoe so that when the tide catches me I'm not soaked or sandy. They rinse off beautifully and dry very well too. I've used them on the boat also so they have a dual purpose for me. I was looking for a very functional shoe and got a pair that looks cool to boot! (I bought them in the green). I wear a 6.5 or 7 size shoe (depending on the style) and got these in the 6.5 since I of course wear them without socks. If you vary between sizes like I do I would say to get your smaller size. But if you are still unsure, what the heck--get them in both sizes and return the one that doesn't fit--Zappos makes it so easy to do so!

Great Boat Shoes! I teach sailing and needed a shoe that wouldn't mark the boats, slip on the decks, or leave my feet wet all day... this was it! The size was right on, and even though I have sort of wide feet, after a couple of wears these fit perfectly. I spend over 12 hours walking around in them at a time and they're still comfortable. They work great with or without socks, but obviously dry faster without. I highly recommend this shoe.
