Still searching for black snow boots that will look okay when I'm dressed up for work. I really liked the style of this boot, but it definitely ran a bit small compared to other winter boots; I usually wear a 9.5W and ordered a 10, and even then the length was right at my toes with no room for socks. And it would be ridiculous to get a size 11, I think. As far as waterproofing, I was disappointed to find that the zipper was not backed with a gusset (not backed with anything at all). This is a universal winter-boot measure that the best manufacturers use to ensure your feet won't get wet at the zipper. If it had this feature I might consider keeping it, but I think the search must go on.

Perfect Boots - I was needing warm boots but not wanting to sacrifice style. They have a great sole with plenty of grip. Soft suede leather, interesting stitch detail and warmer than expected. I wish they had a little arch support, but when I add an arch insert with thick socks, they fill the bill - exactly what I wanted.

Great winter boots - This year I decided to buy warm, comfortable, and still stylish boots for tramping about in the 250+ inches of snow we expect to be delivered this winter. These boots completely fit the bill! I needed to order the larger size to allow for heavier socks, but that was no problem, they shipped over night at no additional charge. Perfect!

Wonderful boots. Great boots. A little too wide though, so I'll have to wear them with thick socks. Boots are very warm - I tried them out in Siberian winter. They don't slip on ice! Soft, comfy. Look cool with jeans inside (wide enough to zip jeans inside).
