The strap across the top of the shoe is not adjustable. I have a narrow foot that needs lots of support. These shoes did not support my foot mostly because they were too wide for me so I returned them. They look cute. The arch support is moderate.

These shoes are definitely made for the person who goes the path less traveled. It's a funky, odd looking shoe, but very comfy, with a surprising amount of arch support. I call them my all terrain slippers. I wouldn't recommend them for long hikes, but perfect for running around town & country in the frosty air. I have wide feet and didn't need to order a size larger.

These definitely are fall shoes (it is 90 degrees now) and I am looking forward to using them when the days are cool and the foliage red and yellow. I wish shoemakers would recognize that there are people who legitimately wear size 10.5, not 10 or 11. I originally ordered 10 but had to return them to get a pair of size 11 which fit nicely. I probably will not take off the outside layer of these shoes for inside wear often but I really like the shoes. I gave them 5 stars for style but I like funky shoes.

I love this shoe, it will be very versatile. However, the weight listed is a big fat lie. They weigh 1.5 lbs for a size 5.5. I was going to take these as camp shoes for backpacking, but they are way too heavy. I can\'t believe Patagonia would be so far off a weight. They know how important that can be for certain things. Shame on them. But I\'m still keeping them because they are well built, like all patagonia things, and they are super comfy.

A shoe that keeps my toes warm - I absolutely love this shoe. My feet get cold very easily and this shoe keeps them warm. I have gotten many compliments when I wore them. They are a very cute and different looking shoe!

Like no shoes at all - These slippers/shoes are fabulous. I have ball of foot pain and heel pain and all that vanishes when I'm wearing these. Surprisingly great arch support. All I can tell you is that I forget I have something on my feet when I'm wearing these slippers. I wear a 6 1/2 but needed size 7 with these.

Total foot candy! These arrived right in middle of inauguration coverage (poor UPS guy, schlepping boxes and not getting to watch!). Absolutely perfect; roomy toe-box, soft and cushy, and love that the sole is removable. Think it runs small - I went up a size. Also gotta love the eco-people at Patagonia: inside of shoe box has nifty graphics, and says: "box is reversible and can be reused for storage". Which is exactly what I am doing.

Patagonia / Salt & Pepper - These shoes are AWESOME! They are so comfortable that I now own 2 pairs! Make sure that you order up 1/2 size. I would like to own a pair in every color, but that might be overkill.

Just the Best - I wear these shoes at least half of my week. They are great with jeans and perfect for weekends. I do not have wide feet like the other reviewers, and they still fit great. People stop me all the time and ask where they can get a pair - they are blown away when I show them how they become house slippers by removing the waterproof portion. I can't say enough - and I am super picky!

What a concept! These multifunction shoes are so comfortable and great for a busy mom who has to pop out to walk the dog or drive a kid to school. Soft, warm inside slippers transform easily to outdoor shoes. They still look like slippers though so you have to be okay with that. I have a wide toe spread in size 12 and they are perfect.
