These are great shoes. I just took them to Italy for 3 weeks and needed no break-in period. They were comfortable from the start. This is the second pair from this brand that I have ordered and will definitely be back for more. My only wish would that the shoe strings were a little thicker. I found them to be a little difficult to tie.

I purchased 4 pairs of shoes from Zappos before my holiday to Europe. I wanted some all-purpose walking shoes that were not sneakers.\r\n\r\nOf the 4 I bought, I decided on the Ahnu Laney. Although, I had to insert a "Superfeet" arch support under the factory insole. \r\n\r\nI had to use BOTH the insole & arch support. One or the other did not support my arches. \r\n\r\nI brought 1 pair of shoes to Europe - the Ahnu Laney.

I bought the Ahnu sneakers about a month ago and I love them! They\'re easy to put on, very stylish with jeans or sweat pants and extremely comfortable. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for stylish AND comfortable everyday sneakers.

I heart these shoes! Quite possibly my best footwear purchase ever. I had a walking-intensive vacation scheduled, and I wanted something comfy, lightweight, and stylish to wear. These delivered on all three counts. They were ultra comfortable right out of the box, with no break-in period required. They accommodated my prescription orthotics perfectly (once I trimmed down the length of the provided insole; something I have to do with any new pair of shoes I buy). My feet didn't have a single blister or sore spot, even after several days of urban hiking. These shoes feel feather-light, and although they're casual, they're still presentable enough to wear in most situations. That's especially true of the black ones, which I think look a little less sneakerish than the other colors. I highly recommend these shoes to anyone who's looking for serious walking comfort in a cute, compact, go-anywhere package.

Since I\'m on my feet all day, I needed a comfortable pair of shoes that I could also wear with orthotics. These shoes were perfect from day one. I liked them so much that I ordered a second pair in a different color.

I love these shoes! They are very comfortable with lots of arch support and very light weight. They are perfect for everyday or for hiking. I\'ve also washed them once and they come out looking like new!

Great for wider feet! Finally, a casual sneaker that works for my wide foot and high instep. I have one pair of great Keen boots that fit well, but I've bombed out on the sneaker/lace-up styles because of my high instep. After replacing the Ahnu insoles with my orthotics I got a perfect fit. So far they have been comfortable though I would need an even more substantial sole for more serious trekking. Overall though, a great find!
