Wow, these are awesome - I always heard that Docs were comfortable shoes, but never really saw a pair that caught my eye. Me and some buddies recently had a conversation about them again and I decided to come here and look over all the styles. Winter is upon us so I wanted a nice looking boot I can wear every day and still "go out" in. I ended up getting these in the bark grizzly. First of all, I must say that these look even better in person. On all the online pictures the soles look too yellow and see through due to the bright studio pictures, but in person with some jeans on, these shoes are dead sexy. The quality is easy to see. And the most important part is how they feel on your feet. I own a bunch of pair of Jordans and other expensive casual footwear and honestly these are the best fitting shoes I have ever worn. The sole feels like it was designed for my foot specifically. Don't hesitate, buy these now. I'm sure you will love these as much as I do.

This handbag is my favorite out of 10 Lucky bags I own. I love this bag because it's very light in weight and has so many compartments, that I never lose anything in this. Also, the leather is so soft and supple. I've gotten so many compliments on the bag from both women and men. This is a small price to pay compared to Coach and Gucci. I recommend this to all.

Dr Martens 8287 Series - This Series 8287 Dr. Martens where ordered for my husband. He loved the look of the shoe/boot. The first few days where a bit hard on his feet - after the couple of day break in period they where good to go... he seems to really like them. 3.5 stars out of 4.

Finally! Favorable Footwear - Except for the lack of insoles, and a little tight on lower upper tongue, the shoe fits good. No squeeze or rubbing on the toes, not too wide in the rear, and the tongue has nice padding. Comfortable and light as a tennis shoe/sneaker/sport shoe yet more durable. The look is a 5 1/2 and the comfort a 4 1/2 giving the overall evaluation of a 5. The Dr. Martens 8287 Series BEX Flex is superior to the inferior Dr. Martens 0939 Series Flex Link. Laces up easily giving the addition 1/2 point each for comfort and look. When these start to wear out I will consider another pair when financially feasible.

Comfortable Shoe - These are the most comfortable of shoes/boots. Put them on wear them all day with no problems. They are soft but definitely rugged. For women, one comment, these shoes have a wide-looking toe box. The surrounding sole comes out pretty far from the actual shoe itself and gives it a slightly clownish look but considering how comfortable these are, you can get past it.

AWESOME SHOES & SERVICE - My husband wanted these shoes, and Zappos was out of the size, so I signed up to be notified when they did get the size in. I was notified on a Friday, jumped right to the link and got the last pair of my husbands hard to find size, and Zappos shipped it out that very day!! He had his new shoes by MONDAY!! Excellent Delivery and Great Boot - 1st, Zappos is awesome. Boots arrived exactly as promised. This is my 4+ Dr. Martens and probably the best fitting yet. I'm normally a 10. I ordered a US 10 UK 9, and the fit was good. In the past I have found even with insoles the 10 to be a little roomy, but this one fit more narrower and thus was more fitting (with the insoles).

As advertised - Still breaking these in, but another reviewer nailed one tough feature - the material "strip" that sits beneath the bottom lace can rub you pretty good. Very comfortable, true to size (I wear a 10 men's), and sufficiently wide (I sometimes need a wide shoe, not so here). And of course, Fantastic Zappos service.

Work or fun - I really bought them for work and they are pair #5 of any Dr. Martens I have ever owned. What I like is the sole that will resist a great many challenges. The difference between this pair and the previous ones: this leather is super soft and flexible, so I don't have to (slightly) suffer through a time of getting used to each other (foot, shoe). Highly recommended.

Love these shoes!! Very comfortable and felt good with the first try on. The second day I wore them ALL day, and am on my feet nearly the whole time, with no problem. Love these shoes!! They are my third pair and am so pleased with the shoes and my Zappos experience. From now on it's Zappos for me.

Felt a little big - I love my boots, but I thought they were a little big. I have narrow feet but I usually wear a 9-1/2. I think I would wear an 8 in these.

Boots are UNGODLY - My pops own these pair before I even started construction. After starting in that line of work he figured they'd better suit me out in the field. And, I tell you what, 3 yrs running, these shoes are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn in my life!!! And they're still the same pair of boots!! Amazing thing is, is that my pops wears a size 12 and I wear a size 10.5 and I never even noticed the size difference. Never once put my feet through the slightest bit of pain. 5 stars recommended!!

Awesome - Bought these in black to compliment another pair of Docs I've had for about 10 years. These have quite a bit of padding inside, so they're very comfortable, more than the other pair I have. The treads are pretty tall and a bit easy to trip on. The finish is a bit nappier than I thought they looked in the pics. Great shoes.

Great Docs! First order with Zappos and it was fantastic. Ordered on a Sat and had my shoes Mon morning! Had Docs in the past, so knew to order a full size smaller as they run large for my foot. Good construction and I think it will take awhile to break-in, but in the meantime, they feel good. Next pair I will go for a taller back boot though because they hit right on my Achilles tendon.

Never a dull moment in these boots - I first purchased these boots from Zappos 4 years ago as a Christmas present to myself for work. They had NO problems holding up to the riggers of that job; as well as cooking in a restaurant for 3 years after the prior job. To date still running strong, the soles still have tread with no cracking although they have sustained several gouges & small punctures (yes they are STILL water tight too...THEY HEALED THEMSELVES!!! AMAZING!!!). The insole I did replace & put a "work" insole only because the one that came with then wore too thin & stared to fall apart, other than that & the slight break in time of about 5 days or so (I have wide feet so the leather had to stretch), these boots have always been a top notch. they still look good (Doc's always look good broken in) & even after rafting, camping, work, a fall from a truck on the highway, they are still one of my favorite pairs of shoes I own...Dr. Martens make some of the best footwear you could ever buy!

Great boots - I have owned these boots for a couple years. At first they were a bit stiff (still comfy) but now the leather is amazingly soft. They look great with pants but a little weird with shorts. I wear them almost daily and now that they are so well broken in they look and feel better than ever. I must confess for the last year or so I have been throwing them on fairly regularly without socks and they are amazingly comfortable this way even when walking for hours. And to top it off they look like they will probably last forever.

Comes together well - I purchased this boot as I needed them for work. The boots, sole and lacing are great. The arch support is negligible. If you don't have orthotics, like I do, don't buy it. That is, unless you prefer a flat insole. But the insole was removable for me to place my own orthotics in, so that was great. I am please so far.

Dr. Martens 8287 Series - My husband wears nothing but tennis shoes when he's not in the office and felt no other shoe would be as comfortable. I am devoted Dr. Marten wearer - I have worn Doc Marten's for over 15 years. Nothing compares to comfort and looks and quality. I bought these because the last pair I had I wore EVERYDAY for over five years. Time for a new pair. This style is a nice everyday boot. My only complaint is that the laces go pretty far towards the toe so it is a bit casual for work. I will be buying another pair with more of a cap on the toes so the laces don't show as much (more for work).

My favorite Pair of Docs - I first stumbled on these shoes back in 2003, and found them to be the most comfortable pairs of shoes I've ever owned, Doc Martens or otherwise. After I purchased my first pair, I wasn't able to find them in stores again. I thought they'd been discontinued. Fortunately, Zappos had them, and I'm very very grateful. I'm now on my 3rd pair. They hold up remarkably, and are nothing but comfort.

Awesome - Bought these in black to compliment another pair of Docs I've had for about 10 years. These have quite a bit of padding inside, so they're very comfortable, more than the other pair I have. The treads are pretty tall and a bit easy to trip on. The finish is a bit nappier than I thought they looked in the pics. Great shoes.

Great Docs! First order with Zappos and it was fantastic. Ordered on a Sat and had my shoes Mon morning! Had Docs in the past, so knew to order a full size smaller as they run large for my foot. Good construction and I think it will take awhile to break-in, but in the meantime, they feel good. Next pair I will go for a taller back boot though because they hit right on my Achilles tendon.

Never a dull moment in these boots - I first purchased these boots from Zappos 4 years ago as a Christmas present to myself for work. They had NO problems holding up to the riggers of that job; as well as cooking in a restaurant for 3 years after the prior job. To date still running strong, the soles still have tread with no cracking although they have sustained several gouges & small punctures (yes they are STILL water tight too...THEY HEALED THEMSELVES!!! AMAZING!!!). The insole I did replace & put a "work" insole only because the one that came with then wore too thin & stared to fall apart, other than that & the slight break in time of about 5 days or so (I have wide feet so the leather had to stretch), these boots have always been a top notch. they still look good (Doc's always look good broken in) & even after rafting, camping, work, a fall from a truck on the highway, they are still one of my favorite pairs of shoes I own...Dr. Martens make some of the best footwear you could ever buy!

Great boots - I have owned these boots for a couple years. At first they were a bit stiff (still comfy) but now the leather is amazingly soft. They look great with pants but a little weird with shorts. I wear them almost daily and now that they are so well broken in they look and feel better than ever. I must confess for the last year or so I have been throwing them on fairly regularly without socks and they are amazingly comfortable this way even when walking for hours. And to top it off they look like they will probably last forever.

Comes together well - I purchased this boot as I needed them for work. The boots, sole and lacing are great. The arch support is negligible. If you don't have orthotics, like I do, don't buy it. That is, unless you prefer a flat insole. But the insole was removable for me to place my own orthotics in, so that was great. I am please so far.

Dr. Martens 8287 Series - My husband wears nothing but tennis shoes when he's not in the office and felt no other shoe would be as comfortable. As soon as these arrived, he called me to say how great they looked and how much better they feel on! I'll be returning to purchase more Dr. Marten's for the men in my family!

I am devoted Dr. Marten wearer - I have worn Doc Marten's for over 15 years. Nothing compares to comfort and looks and quality. I bought these because the last pair I had I wore EVERYDAY for over five years. Time for a new pair. This style is a nice everyday boot. My only complaint is that the laces go pretty far towards the toe so it is a bit casual for work. I will be buying another pair with more of a cap on the toes so the laces don't show as much (more for work).

Dr. Marten’s 8287 - I love my Dr. Marten’s.....I use them for work and play....great for short girls who rides motorcycles....they give you that extra inch for when you stop and put your feet down....Love them...

My favorite Pair of Docs - I first stumbled on these shoes back in 2003, and found them to be the most comfortable pairs of shoes I've ever owned, Doc Martens or otherwise. After I purchased my first pair, I wasn't able to find them in stores again. I thought they'd been discontinued. Fortunately, Zappos had them, and I'm very very grateful. I'm now on my 3rd pair. They hold up remarkably, and are nothing but comfort.
