Good sandal for a guy with bad feet - Got these for my husband who really has a hard time finding a comfortable shoe. Not the best for walking as he needs an extreme orthotic, but great and cool for running around, car trips, errands etc. Actually received a compliment from another guy.

I tried the Venice and the Venice H2, each in black. I expected to like the all black (except for the sole) Venice better than the Venice H2 with its entire grey footbed. All black fits better with my usual style, but when worn, I preferred the H2. The original Venice (at least in all black) looks a bit, uh, "Euro" or like you're a guy wearing Mary Janes, whereas the grey footbed of the H2 conveys more of a "male sport sandal" impression. Note that the photography on the web site makes it look like the toe bumper on the H2 is lighter in color than the original Venice, but in actuality it's the same – it's black, not dark grey. I found that the H2 was a bit snugger than the original Venice. For me this meant that the heel strap was less likely to travel when walking, but it could also mean more rubbing of the rest of the shoe's material against the foot. The fairly convenient lacing system of these shoes means that it's pretty easy to get them appropriately tight, even if you buy a half size too large. You could say, then, that the original Venice (which I might characterize as "a quarter size larger than marked") gives a bit more flexibility in its fit. It's nice with the H2 to be able to just slip it on and then not have to pay much attention to tightening the laces though. The only other issue that can mar the comfort is that there are little spots of hard glue along the bottom of the straps in some places. These can probably be broken down though.

Great Sandals - These shoes/sandals are great. They fit me perfectly and were super comfortable right out of the box. The neoprene padding on the inside of the leather makes them have 0 break-in time. I didn't get any blisters from these sandals as I usually do with other brands. The workmanship is great. You can tell that quality is really important to Keen. These sandals are going to last awhile. Also, Zappos was great. They next day-ed my shoes to me for free. That was cool.

Awesome - This is a great shoe. I have another pair of Keens that I got for Christmas and I live in them. I won't buy anything else now. Zappos is the best. I had to return my first pair because they were a half size too small. I was bummed. BUT, to my surprise I had the replacement two days after calling. They would have been there the next day, but I didn't call until after 1pm. Simply AMAZING! I had the replacement before they had received my return back. THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE ANYWHERE!!

So comfortable - First of all, I ordered these shoes at 10:00 one night and had them the afternoon of the next day. Unbelievable good service. I have lower back and knee issues, arthritis, scoliosis, and these shoes are so comfortable for the very first time you put them on. My chiropractor said they are good for my knees. They are a real break in the hot Texas summers where I have had to wear tennis shoes for a couple years. They are a little funky looking, but cute. I would buy one in several colors if I could.

Great shoes, great service - Just like many reviewers have noted, these feel ½ a size smaller than usual. However, we still ordered a 9.5 for my husband and then had to send them back for a size 10. We ordered the first pair on New Year's Day, and they were here the next day! This overnight shipping thing is absolutely wonderful. When the 9.5 was a little too snug, we had a size 10 here the next day again. The shoes were very comfortable (we took them on a Mexican vacation) and waterproof.

Zappos and Keen rock - I shopped locally for the Venice, but color and size were not so easy to find. I finally decided to go for it and ordered online around 4pm on Thursday expecting to receive my order on Monday. To my surprise I checked my email the following morning to see that the order was to arrive that day! Wow! The Keens look (for funky sandals) and feel great. The size does run a bit small (tried on a pair in a store before ordering), so get a half size larger. Can't wait to run around outdoors with them, but so far they seem very comfortable. So kudos to Zappos for the super quick service and Keen for a great feeling product.

MY HUSBAND'S new FAVORITES... You can tell when a man wears his shoes every day over his old favorites that he favors the new pair. When I first purchased the Keen in olive, I was a bit skeptical since my husband is very particular about his shoes and sandals. He tried these on and asked if there are other colors. Needless to say, I ordered him the black ones also. Now, these are all he wears. His favorites used to be Clarks, but since walking on the Keens, the Clarks are his secondary choice. He says these are so comfortable, and good enough to wear everywhere, even if the weather turns cold. I'll be looking out for other colors for him. He varies between a 10 and 10.5 and he's a Narrow. He finds that the 10.5 fits perfectly and has room for that all day comfortableness. Great buy and great quality.

Most comfortable sandal ever - Ordered these for my husband and he pronounced them the most comfortable shoes he's ever worn--and that was right out of the box. I expected him to complain about the price once I told him, but he said they were absolutely worth it. He varies between 11 1/2 and 12 depending on the style/brand of shoe he wears and the 12 fit just right.

Love em!! Am very pleased with my new Keen sandals, they arrived at my door in a little more then 12 hours after my on line order. Walked about 3 miles in them right out of the box, felt great!! The enclosed toe is a nice for safety sake; however, it does not allow those pesky little stones and other small objects to fall out of the sandal as well as open toe...so I just take them off. I will buy another pair someday!! P.S. Be sure to get 1/2 size larger than your street shoe.

What a sandal! This is a pair of comfortable sneaker sandals with severe ventilation! Extremely comfortable (I have foot issues and these feel gr8!) and I saw another review that said they are stinky, but I have not had that experience. I love them! The closed toe is unique in a sandal, but works for me as I can do much more work around the house without getting my feet dirty or hurt with an open toe sandal.

Great sandal! I was looking for a sandal that would provide some support and my podiatrist recommended Keen. Not much selection in our area, but after reading customer reviews about Zappos (and Keen), I decided to give Zappos a try. Keen's Venice is most decidedly the best sandal I have ever worn. It gives some support and being able to use the bungee to snug it up really makes the sandal feel like it's an extension of my foot. It doesn't slide around or feel loose, it just fits. At first I thought the styling was a little goofy, but it's grown on me. The closed toe provides a feeling of protection and when walking in the woods, I don't get twigs caught under my toes as I have with previous sandals. It is possible, however, to get gravel through the sides and it's a bit difficult to get out without removing the sandal. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase and am planning to check out the Keen boot selection when looking for a winter boot. (I generally wear a Goretex hiking boot with heavy socks for winter - as long as my feet are dry, they stay warm.) Kudos to Zappos for incredible service, I ordered these sandals on a Saturday afternoon and had them by Monday morning. I will definitely purchase from Zappos again. Just a comment on sizing; believe it when customer reviews say this sandal runs about a half size small. I ordered a half size larger than usual and they fit perfectly. Because of the way my feet are shaped, I ordered men's (which my podiatrist also recommended). Normally I would take an 11 or 12 wide women's and a 10.5 med men's is perfect. It's not easy having big feet, but with products like these that have basically unisex styling, it becomes a lot easier.

My husband likes these a lot - He's very picky about shoes, wears custom orthotics in his regular shoes and has been in search of a comfortable, functional water-resistant sandal for quite some time. He especially likes the covered toe.

Pretty good sandal - This is a good sandal with many good features. I liked the traction and secure fit feel provided by the drawstring laces. It's not completely unattractive but it's definitely not super great looking. I like the wrap-around toe but it does tend to get a bit warm in that area. The rest of the sandal stays relatively cool. All in all a pretty good sandal.

Keens are KEEN!!!! A little pricey, but extremely comfortable from the get-go. I liked the toe guard, no more stubbed toes! They were true to size and the wash-ability is a plus, although they didn't need washing because of odors, as reported in other reviews.

Most comfortable shoes I own - These shoes definitely generate some funny looks from people, but I don't care. They are so comfortable that I could wear them all day and night. They're easy to clean (just throw them in the washing machine). They're perfect for the beach or a walk around the neighborhood.

Very comfortable and secure sandal - Easy to put on and take off. Feeling of security due to good fit, easy adjustment and toe protection, but still cool like a sandal. My size is 11 EEE and the size 12 was perfect for length and just slightly narrow but OK for width.

I love my choice - This shoe was everything that I was looking for. It was comfortable, economical, stylish, and yet very practical. I would recommend it for almost any occasion.

Love em!! Am very pleased with my new Keen sandals, they arrived at my door in a little more then 12 hours after my on line order. Walked about 3 miles in them right out of the box, felt great!! The enclosed toe is a nice for safety sake; however, it does not allow those pesky little stones and other small objects to fall out of the sandal as well as open toe...so I just take them off. I will buy another pair someday!! P.S. Be sure to get 1/2 size larger than your street shoe.

What a sandal! This is a pair of comfortable sneaker sandals with severe ventilation! Extremely comfortable (I have foot issues and these feel gr8!) and I saw another review that said they are stinky, but I have not had that experience. I love them! The closed toe is unique in a sandal, but works for me as I can do much more work around the house without getting my feet dirty or hurt with an open toe sandal.

Great sandal! I was looking for a sandal that would provide some support and my podiatrist recommended Keen. Not much selection in our area, but after reading customer reviews about Zappos (and Keen), I decided to give Zappos a try. Keen's Venice is most decidedly the best sandal I have ever worn. It gives some support and being able to use the bungee to snug it up really makes the sandal feel like it's an extension of my foot. It doesn't slide around or feel loose, it just fits. At first I thought the styling was a little goofy, but it's grown on me. The closed toe provides a feeling of protection and when walking in the woods, I don't get twigs caught under my toes as I have with previous sandals. It is possible, however, to get gravel through the sides and it's a bit difficult to get out without removing the sandal. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase and am planning to check out the Keen boot selection when looking for a winter boot. (I generally wear a Goretex hiking boot with heavy socks for winter - as long as my feet are dry, they stay warm.) Kudos to Zappos for incredible service, I ordered these sandals on a Saturday afternoon and had them by Monday morning. I will definitely purchase from Zappos again. Just a comment on sizing; believe it when customer reviews say this sandal runs about a half size small. I ordered a half size larger than usual and they fit perfectly. Because of the way my feet are shaped, I ordered men's (which my podiatrist also recommended). Normally I would take an 11 or 12 wide women's and a 10.5 med men's is perfect. It's not easy having big feet, but with products like these that have basically unisex styling, it becomes a lot easier.

My husband likes these a lot - He's very picky about shoes, wears custom orthotics in his regular shoes and has been in search of a comfortable, functional water-resistant sandal for quite some time. He especially likes the covered toe.

Pretty good sandal - This is a good sandal with many good features. I liked the traction and secure fit feel provided by the drawstring laces. It's not completely unattractive but it's definitely not super great looking. I like the wrap-around toe but it does tend to get a bit warm in that area. The rest of the sandal stays relatively cool. All in all a pretty good sandal.

Keens are KEEN!!!! A little pricey, but extremely comfortable from the get-go. I liked the toe guard, no more stubbed toes! They were true to size and the wash-ability is a plus, although they didn't need washing because of odors, as reported in other reviews.

Most comfortable shoes I own - These shoes definitely generate some funny looks from people, but I don't care. They are so comfortable that I could wear them all day and night. They're easy to clean (just throw them in the washing machine). They're perfect for the beach or a walk around the neighborhood.

Very comfortable and secure sandal - Easy to put on and take off. Feeling of security due to good fit, easy adjustment and toe protection, but still cool like a sandal. My size is 11 EEE and the size 12 was perfect for length and just slightly narrow but OK for width.
