Great comfort for a reasonable price. I have a hard time finding shoes to fit my bony, flat feet that provide enough comfort and support for all day wear. These sandals are really incredible! I appreciate that they easily stay on my feet when walking at a brisk pace, and they didn't rub my skin as I thought they might. Plus, they are so light in weight you forget you're wearing them. I would definitely order again. My one and only "wish" would be a higher arch support, but these do have some support.

New sandal - I always have problems with my sandals rubbing the skin off my feet. This sandal was no exception. I thought walking around my house it would not do this, but just wore it outside on a long walk and there are areas on both feet were the rubbing has cut my skin. Maybe they still need to be broken in?

Pleasant sandals - These sandals are great for walking. They fit nicely to my foot and are good and secure so that they are not slipping off my feet. However they are not the most fashionable and have a slightly bulky look to them. They took a little getting used to as far as the look, but now I really like them, a good alternative to the typical thong which can be hard on your heels.

Pretty good shoe! I have trouble finding comfortable, cute shoes. This one is pretty close! It is comfortable--fit is true. There is some nice support. The look is casual and fairly cute.

Very narrow in heel - Love the look, love the style. However, I will be returning these shoes because the heel part is narrow. I do not have a wide foot at all. But when I walk the inside of my foot moves off of the shoe bed - I kept trying to compensate - (because I really want these shoes) but alas - they won't work for me.

Comfortable, but not flattering - I purchased these sandals to wear on a vacation to Great Britain. For three weeks I walked around England, Scotland, and Wales and I wore these more than any of my other shoes/sandals. (The Teva Hurricanes I purchased at the same time, for the same purpose, gave me blisters over my instep.) These shoes offered all the support I needed (which isn't much) and are very very comfortable. I have a narrow foot and these were not too loose for me. They did seem a tad long. Their primary drawback (the reason I don't wear them much now that I am home) is that they are unflattering. They make my narrow foot look wide. Still, I do wear them occasionally, to work, to dinner, to pretty much anywhere I go. Overall, I am very happy with them.

Good as a sandal or house slipper - I am so glad I found these Westlake sandals. They are so comfortable I don't want to take them off. I was looking for a slipper, wanted a slip-on and I need sole support like a shoe. I have Plantar Fasciitis and need a good arch. This has enough support for that. I do use them in the house only, but because they are so comfortable I forgot I had them on and went to work in them.

Sizing - I like Columbia Slides and have bought several pairs through Zappos. Usually I fit beautifully into a size 6 1/2 . Westlake only came in full sizes, so I chose a 6 (7 was too big). Westlakes are not quite as good a fit as my previous purchases.

Comfort & style! I have been searching for a sandal that I can walk all day in and look acceptable at the office! This sandal in the neutral color does just that. It doesn’t show too much toe (as others do) and the low cut on the top of the foot doesn’t give you that cankle look that so many of these types do! Not tapered at the end for good toe spread, but may suit wider type foot.

Nice looking sandals - I purchased these sandals in brown a few months ago - I waited to write my review until I'd worn them for awhile. I really like the way they look - a nice warm brown with contrasting stitching, but they seem to run a little small and narrow. I bought an 8, which is my normal size. They fit pretty well lengthwise, but they feel a bit tight across my foot (as if the last band is pulled too tightly). After wearing them for a few hours, the tops of my feet will often be red and feel a bit raw where the straps have been rubbing against them. I really like the sandals, but this issue prevents me from wearing them more often.

Short instep - If you have high arches/ insteps, you might find it a bit hard to wiggle your foot into this shoe. I never felt like I could work my foot forward enough into the shoe so that they fit properly, and even so they were so tight across the instep that they hurt. Too bad, because the foot bed is comfy and they have great traction for as stylish as they are.

WOW. GET THIS SHOE FOR TRAVEL WALKING COMFORT! Took this shoe to China to be my Great Wall walking shoe -- too hot for closed toed shoes, so I was looking for sandals that could handle lots of walking. One of most comfortable shoes I have ever owned, did miles and miles of walking in it. Doesn’t "slap" your heel, because straps come up far enough on side. Upper straps felt great, footbed is suede so good traction. Good support, good traction on bottom and blister free. FANTASTIC. And, although it seems more than you can hope for, this comfortable shoe doesn't look half bad, even a bit stylish; could wear with khakis and go to restaurant.

Slender feet, beware! I received these today and was very disappointed by how wide they were. I like them otherwise but the fit is so poor that I will have to return them, and they don't make them in a narrower width. I usually wear a medium width- my feet are not that narrow.

Live in shoes - This is the best shoe Columbia ever put on the market. I walk on tile floors all day at an airport, and never go home with aching feet. Just wish you made them in more colors!

Live in shoes - This is the best shoe Columbia ever put on the market. I walk on tile floors all day at an airport, and never go home with aching feet. Just wish you made them in more colors!
